Steevo
Surely it deserves to be up there with other classics such as "Alive" and "Live at Leeds". Don't hear them mentioned much these days, but man they kicked it back then. Go power-pop!! I'll wager Earl will give me the "thumbs up" on this live gem as well

raygun47
I took it for granted for many years. Pulled it up on the iPod a few months back, and had a whole new love and appreciation. Funny it was mentioned here.
fritz44
Fabulous live album. Bought it when first released on vinyl in '79 - yellow vinyl. Now own the original version on CD and the complete concert. For my memory's sake I prefer the original version. Rockford was, IMO, album of 2006. RUSHHEAD666
I have tried for years and years to love Cheap Trick, but I just can't do it. As I have said on other threads I can't stand Bun E. Carlos on the drums. WEAK SAUCE! JMO! Saying that though I have to give props this this live record. It's outstanding and should be in everyone's collection. Do you guys have the expanded 2 cd edition of this album? There is also a dvd box set of this incredible show.

Bun E. is one of the most fundamentally sound drummers around. I spent hours with a stereo parked behind my kit and a pair of headphones on, duplicating his patterns. He, more than any other drummer, "taught me how to play" drums. Love the album. 'Clock Strikes Ten' is one helluva' badass tune!

His drums on the latest album are still kicking it apparantly. It's a shame the rest of the arrangements are probably gonna lack though

Rock'n'roll dead dea scroll. Unbelievable. My wife thought I was on crack. The footage is so raw and exciting. Mr. Zander was a very handsome young man. There, I've said it, I feel better now. Thanks for the heads up folks!! cool poster too!
Xanadoood
Solid album. I love their debut as well. That is never mentioned much either, and i think its brilliant. Cheap Trick bridged the gap between punk and pop.
Earthshine
It is a great album. But I talked Tom Petersson one time and he was so arrogant and unfriendly it was disgusting. I heard they are all that way.
silver
I have met Rick 2 times and I think he just comes off that way. I would imagine in the heyday when they were drug binging out on cocaine it might have been different. They are playing a casino here in the next month so it will be interesting to see how they are once again. I just wish Robin would find a pair of eggs and just intro the songs instead of Rick doing all that shit. The two tougher cds a die hard CT fan needs to grab ahold of are Standing on the Edge Next Position Please.
