I just got done watching Spielberg's first film "Duel" again last night and it got me thinking about how many great movies this guy has made. There have been a few clunkers (Hook) but for the most part, this is a tough choice. I have a feeling Raider's is gonna take but i went with Minority Report. I absolutely love that film.

Had to go with Raiders of the Lost Ark. Such an iconic film, and I never get tired of watching it.

I will have no credibility for saying this but I loved War Of The Worlds.

Lots of great ones

Wasn't Poltergeist a Spielberg movie ? I loved that one and its not on the list.

Spielberg produced it. Tobe Hooper directed.

"Saving Private Ryan," although I love many of his films. "Minority Report" deserves a mention on my list.

Jeez that's hard - so many great movies on that list.

I gave it to Close Encounters, but maybe only because it captured my imagination so much as a kid in a way few other movies had.

Really though, I could have easily chosen so many others. Second would probably be Schindler's List.

Tough to choose between "Jaws," "Private Ryan" and "Schindler's List."

Here we are in the age of CGI, and "Jaws," despite it's fake mechanical shark, has aged remarkably well. That movie still delivers. The other two I mentioned are probably Spielberg's two best accomplishments, both technically and dramatically.

I still consider Poltergeist a Spielberg movie, if just for the fact it looks, sounds, and feels like a Spielberg movie. I'd pick that one as my fave if it were listed.

Since it isn't, I'll pick Jaws. I hate CGI - somehow it looks computer generated.
