circumstantial tree
Here's one I really liked that came on in the Fall of 1978. I remember really liking the different designs of the rockets that they were riding. Unfortunately, this cartoon was cancelled and replaced by Alvin and the Chipmonks which made me mad - and on a Saturday when I had to go to school as a snow makeup day. Pags
let's see how many I can think of off the top of my head: Bugs Bunny (The best cartoon ever made) Looney Toons Magilla Gorilla Wacky Racers Hercules Speed Racer The Herculoids The Jetsons The Flintstones Hong Kong Phooey Woody Woodpecker Casper The Friendly Ghost (probably my very first favorite cartoon) Space Ghost Spiderman Superfriends Fantastic Four X-Men Batman the Animated Series Battle Of The Planets Transformers Oh hell, that's enough. I'm sure I'll think of more, but sheesh.

Xanadu93
I was big into Yu-Gi-Oh, and to a certain extent, I still am (as well as the card game!), Teen Titans, Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi (based on the J-pop group Puffy AmiYumi), and probably some others. I've got the first four seasons of Teen Titans on DVD as well as the movie (I need to get season five), and I've got two HHPAY dvd's, as well as a bunch of VHS tapes of YGO that I recorded. I think I've got something like a hundred VHS tapes, full of episodes! edit for nostalgia: you know how when, say, people who grew up with certain cartoons/tv shows of their era (say, kids who watched nickelodeon in the '90s and remember when spongebob was brand-new) talk about how bad new cartoons/shows are, or how they don't like them? i had that happen to me with all the new shit on cartoon network! i grew up with codename: kids next door, teen titans, yugioh, all the good stuff, now they're showing an animated reality show! wtf??? i want my old shows back! Mara
Superfriends, The Flintstones, The Jetsons, Bugs Bunny and other classic Looney Tunes, Spiderman, Rocky & Bullwinkle, Yogi Bear, Hong Kong Phooey. Probably my favorite was The Pink Panther. Even as a kid, I recognized the subtle cynicism and loved the general smart-assedness of the Panther. I understand he talks now. Blasphemy. Was that from Battle of the Planets? If not, what the heck was it from? Also Robotech was a show I watched as a young teen <cough>nerd<cough>. Was that from Battle of the Planets? If not, what the heck was it from? Yep, from Battle of the Planets. It was said as the five teenagers swung their arms in an arc, with their bracelets suddenly lighting up. It's what turned the five teens into galactic heroes in bird costumes.
