Eventhough I already mentioned this song in my original post, 30K Ft. by Assembalge 23 just now popped-up on my iPod, and I just decided to post the link to the song, and the lyrics, so you all can check it out...

Hello, if you're there, pick up the phone

I'm calling from 30,000ft. above you.

The captain just informed us that our plane is going down

So I'm calling for one last time to say I love you.

I'm not certain how much time I may have left, so I'll be brief

Sorry if this message only amplifies your grief.

But I couldn't bear the burden never having sayed Goodbye

And the pain you feel, I promise you, will go away with time.

I'm sorry I won't be there to see our children grow

Please tell them that I loved them more than they will ever know.

Tell my family and friends how much I loved them all, as well

I'm sure that we will meet again, but only time will tell.

I'm sorry, most of all, I won't be there when you grow old

To be there by your side, and keep you warm when you are cold.

Forgive me, but I think my time is drawing to a close

So I have one last thing to tell you now before I have to go

I...

As a kid I always thought "Seasons in the Sun" (Terry Jacks) was disturbing. unsure.gif

I think That Disturbing because My boyfriend said he wants that played at his Funeral so now when I think of it I think of him being dead.

Korn - Pretty

About when Jonathan worked in a morgue, there was a 1 year old baby raped and killed by her father.

This song is pretty Disturbing. The Lyrics oh my.

Can't believe no one's mentioned "I Don't Like Mondays" - Bob Geldof * The Boomtown Rats

Eerie because the somewhat cheery piano tune just does not fit the subject matter!

This song was mentioned in the first post of this thread. It really creeped me out when I was 8 or 9 and my best friend and I snagged the 45 from her older brother. The lyrics alone are morose, but with the music and the way that guy sang it. Blech!!!! It still gives me the willies.

D.O.A

Bloodrock

Bloodrock 2

Laying here looking at the ceiling

Someone lays a sheet across my chest

Something warm is flowing down my fingers

Pain is flowing all through my back

I try to move my arms and there's no feeling

And when I look I see there's nothing there

The face beside me stopped it totally bleeding

The girl I knew has such a distant stare

I remember

We were flying along and hit something in the air

I remember

We were flying along and hit something in the air

Then I looked straight at the attendant

His face is pale as it can be

He bends and whispers something softly

He says there's no chance for me

I remember

We were flying along and hit something in the air

I remember

We were flying along and hit something in the air

Life is flowing out my body

Pain is flowing out with my blood

The sheets are red and moist where I'm lying

God in Heaven, teach me how to die

I remember

We were flying along and hit something in the air

I remember

We were flying along and hit something in the air

I think the scariest track in my library is probably Dr. Dre's "The Day the N*ggaz Took Over", from The Chronic. It's about the L.A. riots in 1992 - strong imagery, and the music is just as scary. Includes sound bites from the news, I suppose. I wasn't even alive when it happened, and I can see that shit happening in my mind.

RUSHOLME RUFFIANS - the Smiths

The last night of the fair

By the big wheel generator

A boy is stabbed

And his money is grabbed

And the air hangs heavy like a dulling wine

She is Famous

She is Funny

An engagement ring

Doesn't mean a thing

To a mind consumed by brass (money)

And though I walk home alone

I might walk home alone ...

...But my faith in love is still devout

The last night of the fair

From a seat on a whirling waltzer

Her skirt ascends for a watching eye

It's a hideous trait (on her mother's side)

From a seat on a whirling waltzer

Her skirt ascends for a watching eye

It's a hideous trait (on her mother's side)

And though I walk home alone

I might walk home alone ...

...But my faith in love is still devout

Then someone falls in love

And someone's beaten up

Someone's beaten up

And the senses being dulled are mine

And someone falls in love

And someone's beaten up

And the senses being dulled are mine

And though I walk home alone

I might walk home alone ...

...But my faith in love is still devout

This is the last night of the fair

And the grease in the hair

Of a speedway operator

Is all a tremulous heart requires

A schoolgirl is denied

She said : "How quickly would I die

If I jumped from the top of the parachutes ?"

So ... scratch my name on your arm with a fountain pen

(This means you really love me)

Scratch my name on your arm with a fountain pen

(This means you really love me)

Oh ...

And though I walk home alone

I just might walk home alone

But my faith in love is still devout

Just hearing the guy from The Smith sing is disturbing enough.

I listen to every genre of metal. For many people most of those songs are disturbing, for myself it's too difficult to pick one that really stands out though.

I can offer up a video though. "From Cradle to Enslave" by Cradle of Filth is pretty awesome and disturbing all in one. Due to some nudity and gore viewer discretion is advised.
