  1. QUOTE (Tony R @ Jul 16 2011, 09:13 PM) Allegory. Yeah...that.
  2. QUOTE (J2112YYZ @ Jul 3 2011, 08:24 PM)The lyrics to 'The Trees' is a dead give away that Neil was partaking in some recreational use as well. Are you serious? The Trees is a social/political analogy. I don't see the connection with drug use.
  3. QUOTE (Mara @ Aug 30 2009, 09:00 AM) QUOTE (Janie @ Aug 30 2009, 08:24 AM) QUOTE (Spindrift @ Aug 27 2009, 07:17 PM) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PwzLQ-ekGt8&feature=related I remember watching this when I was younger and thinking it was a great show. I was wrong about a lot of things from my youth. That is just crazy bad. Agree 100%. This illustrates the point perfectly that just because something is an antique does not mean it's worth holding on to. I forgot about the show until I stumbled upon it on YouTube. I didn't like it when it was 1st aired, except for the girls. I wanted to see the artists not some interperetive? dance crap. I still see no value in the show except to remind us how stupid the entertainment industry can get at times. But it is hard to look away...kind of like a horror film.

  5. "You scored 15.00% of the possible points for this test." QUOTE Oh dear... looks like you need to brush up on your bra knowledge. If you're a guy, you're forgiven... but if you're a girl, you probably need to get yourself a bra fitting! I can't believe DPR got a 95%, perhaps he's hiding a secret?
  6. QUOTE (workingcinderellaman @ Aug 13 2009, 07:55 PM) A friend sent me this. Literal White Wedding Ha! I quite liked it. These were entertaining: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HTPko-aXvJM&feature=related
  7. I didn't identify closely with any of the characters. I always did what I wanted in school. I skipped when I wanted and I signed every excuse and paper that the school ever received from my parents. I had a car as a Junior, and I went off campus for lunch and to smoke cigarettes often. We had a pretty tight group of friends that all did whatever we wanted. We partied every weekend. From bars to the quarry, to house parties, we were at the all right ones. (Legal drinking age was 18 at the time, so it was easy to get in the bars) I didn't try real hard in class, and I always got a B or B+ or A. I hung around with the jocks, but I didn't play a sport. Jocks like to party! I also hung around with the cool kids who liked to party, but didn't dress like heads. The only people I didn't hang around with were the ones who never partied. no party = loser. Sometimes I would go out to the bars alone, especially when I wanted to meet new friends. I was lover not a fighter. I met a very cute girl at 15 and 3/4, she taught me a thing or two, and she had a best friend who was her tag team partner. I really was hooked after that. I did get detention once in HS, I think I skipped one class too many, I actually can't remember. You guys tell me, which Breakfast Club Member do I sound like?
  8. QUOTE (Mara @ May 20 2009, 01:27 PM)Hollyweird really is scraping the bottom of the barrel and this confirms it. It was a HORRIBLE movie, with a worse soundtrack! I thought so even as an 80's teen! I couldn't agree more. I had to live through the original footloose era
  9. QUOTE (PanaceaFish @ May 20 2009, 08:20 PM) Well, I'm rootin' for Adam...I thought he was pretty good for much of the season... Sorry to those who didn't think the same way I do! I think Adam is the better choice for "American Idol".
  10. QUOTE (PanaceaFish @ May 6 2009, 10:06 PM)I'm shocked that Allison was sent home tonight, but then again, her rendition of Cry Baby could've been better.. I guess I'll be rooting for Adam, now.. Classic example of poor song choice by Allison. Nevertheless, she'll do well with her singing career.
  11. I have to say that Danny was stellar tonight. and as usual, Adam has skills.
  12. QUOTE (PanaceaFish @ Apr 9 2009, 02:02 PM) QUOTE (Rushman14 @ Apr 9 2009, 12:29 PM) QUOTE (GeddyRulz @ Apr 9 2009, 02:03 AM) QUOTE (PanaceaFish @ Apr 8 2009, 09:51 PM) Well, looks like Scott, Mum's fave, was sent home tonight... He was a super nice guy with a big heart, and an inspiration. But his performance sounded a little too karaoke to me. he should have stayed behind the piano Yes, I agree, but the judges told him that he should get out from behind the piano more often, and look where it got him...Stupid judges... Paula was the only one that suggested he step away from the piano....i think. Scott, while talented, is not good enough vocally to compete against the remaining contestants. IMO of course.

  16. QUOTE (trees2008 @ Jul 8 2008, 08:02 PM)boooooring Then why don't you name the movie for the line that's on the clock?
  17. Mike Meyers tops my list. I saw Ferrell in that basketball flick for the first time yesterday, what a POS movie.
  18. QUOTE (Cowtothesky @ Jul 8 2008, 08:25 AM) Early 90's cast for me. First cast would be 2nd. What he said.
  19. You will be mine, like my dog, or my horse, or my falcon, except that I shall love you more--and trust you less.
  20. QUOTE (rushfanNlv @ Jul 6 2008, 11:18 AM) "My brain is like oatmeal. I yelled at Kenny today for coloring outside the lines! Megan and I are starting to watch the same TV shows....and I'm liking them. I'm losing it!" Mr. Mom
