I like Halloween too. I'll probably post a few pictures closer to Halloween though. I don't know why, but I usually decorate the house (well, front porch!) either the day before or the day of Halloween.

I love anything and everything fall though. The trees are so beautiful. There's color everywhere. Don't even get me started on the food and the smell of fires in fireplaces.

It's interesting to read how Americans seem to go bananas over this time of the year.

No one seems to give a toss about Halloween in the UK

But you should give a toss. Know why? Two words: Free Candy. At what other point in time do you get to be hopped up on sugar scaring the daylights out of kids? That's entertainment right there.

I think treeduck will back me up on this.

I wouldn't say that no-one gives a toss, but we certainly don't go ridiculously overboard on it like the Americans do.

Any little shites come trick or treating to my door get a "Feck off to Seppoland and do it there, you lousy little gobshites"

Anyway we have the joys of bonfire-night to come, although the increasing seppoisation of British culture seems to have killed off the old "Penny for the Guy"

That reminds me, when I was just a young pebble, I told my dad that I'd stuck a firework up the dog's arse, to which the old Troll replied "That's it's Rectum son, Rectum" so I told him "Rectum? It blew his f***ing bollocks off!"

Well... I suggested it, but of course I was overruled by the wife and kids.

Maybe this year I'll carve the Starman into my pumpkin.... cool.gif

Your derogatory language is unacceptable here. You want to hate other nations and/or cultures, you are free to do so all you wish. But you won't do it here on this website.

Understand? Or do I have to show everyone your photoshopped pic of you burning an American flag?

For someone who thinks he's so much better than other people, you'd think you'd be able to prove it instead of acting like a lowlife piece of shit.

Why the admins allow you to remain here is a mystery to me.

And for anyone who may not realize...

American is a derogatory slang word used towards Americans.

Derogertory word used by the English and Australians for all American nationals. Derived from Rhyming slang (Septic Tank = Yank)

So I ask TRF members... is this the kind of person you want posting here? Let's hear from you.

I've never even heard of that word before until that post. The word doesn't really bother me. However, comments like those don't belong in this thread which up until that post has been a great topic.

I say delete the post and bring the topic continues from where it was left off.

I don't think he means any real harm guys.

This sort of good natured abuse would be considered banter in the UK. The various constituent nations (England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales)say things which on face value would be considered pretty dreadful to an outsider, but we all know it's just ribbing and piss-taking.

The only thing he is guilty of is not realising how seriously what he types is taken by some of you (at least I hope that is the case)

I certainly don't want to see him banned.....
