Foo Fighters Death Cab For Cutie Mudhoney Harvey Danger PUSA Modest Mouse Sir Mix-A-Lot Queensryche What she said, funny to see the list of bands from here. I do miss the good ole days The Gits were more local I think though they were known across the Country from Club tours and especially in California. Mia Zapata, vocalist, bacame an icon of the Grunge scene after her murder at the beginning of the 1990's. Her body was found on Capital Hill close to the Comet Tavern- to which she was headed- with her hoodie up over her head and the drawstrings wrapped around her neck. She was a nice girl, I liked her I lived in Burlington at the time, but I used to go hang out in Lynwood back in those days, so I totally missed out on the beginnings of the Seattle scene. I've been in Bellingham for the past decade, which gets lumped in with the "Seattle band" thing the few times we put out a band. The only ones I can think of right off the top of my head are Death Cab For Cutie, the Posies, and I guess the original lead singer from Jefferson Airplane was from here.
