Lady April Posted June 19, 2008 Share Posted June 19, 2008 Today was awesome, I got out of bed and watched Emmy sleep for a few minutes before waking her to begin the day. I was grateful for her. I love those early mornings when all is quiet, and i can wake up with the sun I finished burning to CD copies of my pics from the Detroit RUSH concert for those who i promised to send them to. Alsgalpal Posted October 24, 2008 Share Posted October 24, 2008 I rode my horse over some jumps for the very first time last night. It was the first time for her, and the first time for me since my accident. Hell, I haven't rode over jumps in about 16 years. That was the one thing I was insanely passionate about. (way back before I started riding sportbikes) The horse seemed to really like it. She over jumped them all, by about a foot and a half. I had two 55 gallon drums layed over on their sides, and she cleared them. I was smiling from ear to ear last night. I'm so proud of me, and today my back is really pissed off. I did it last night, and you bet I will be doing it again! This is a really amazing time for me. I have a wonderful horse with a huge caliber to take me to high level competition. (not Olympics, but big time for this territory). I never would have thought that I would be able to really handle jumping again, and I did it! I did it on my horse that is green, and I did it!!!
