I contemplated bumping it, but then decided a brand spankin' new one would be better. There is so much negative energy, bullshit, drama in our lives on a daily basis, I thought a thread similar to 'what made your day today' was in order. By focusing on the the positive things in our world... however minute they may be, it helps us to push all that negativity out of our lives... and shows us how to appreciate everything... It could be something as simple as a bird flying overhead... a blooming flower... a quiet morning... a good cup of coffee, or a simple embrace by the wind... Get it? OK. I'll start: Life is good: I woke up to a beautiful sunrise. I have a multitude of friends who live all over the globe who love & appreciate me & our friendship. I have three wonderful, smart, beautiful daughters, who are all safe & happy. honestly.... i could go on & on... and I will. but for now.... Tag. you're it. life is good! Tell us about it... For this alone I'm the luckiest sod in the universe. oh yeah, and I'm going to see Rush 3 times soon and meet some cool TRFers! I am able to still hug and kiss my beautiful little girls, and I lived to meet the most wonderful man ever. For that, every day, I am so very thankful. I am alive to see the beautiful sunsets in all their orange, pink and light blue splendor. I am able to twist the throttle just one more time. I am able to swing a leg over my horse and have her carry me effortlessly. I am able to roll over and cuddle my sweetheart in my sleep. I am wakened with sweet kisses and I love you's every morning. I have friends that I love dearly. I have a job that I adore. I am good at what I do and know the value of good hard self application to everything I set out to do... While walking the dog last night, I sat on the shore of Lake Ontario and saw one of the most beautiful sunsets I had seen in quite some time. Today I woke up and although my back was in much pain, the determination and physical ability to get the hell out of bed and take care of my family's needs overcame me. He puts up with me even when I am in the worst of moods. I am blessed to have 5 children that are some of the best young men and woman that you would ever meet. Very helpful, talented and smart. I wonder where they got those qualities from? I am blessed to have great friends all over the place that are there when you need them and know that I will be there for them also.
