I used to watch King's X way back when they were just playing bars in the Springfield, MO area. I got to speak with them a few times and they were always my favorite local band.

There are some other threads about the X, I am a fan.

I used to know the guys very well.

Trying to track down a copy of their NEW cd.

I hate buying music at the big box stores- I bet they won't have it.

Discovered King's X this year and I love them, especially the first five albums, every bit as much as Rush.

Faith Hope Love is my favourite at the moment, and I think the way they combine soul, funk, hard rock and metal is unique, and very addictive!

Goldilox is one of my favourite songs now.

Don't think King's X has ever opened for Rush, but I did see them open for the Scorpians once. Zebra rocks as well.

Discovered King's X with "Out Of The Silent Planet" thru a friend of mine and I followed tbem until "Dogman".

In 1991 we travelled in six from Milan to London for the gig at the Town & Country Club (now Forum) in Kentsh Town and it was definetely worth.

I played the self titled album and didn't like it very much. Odd, but they lost a little something with that release, but thankfully more great albums were to come!

I'm a big fan of "Please Come Home...Mr. Bulbous". It's just a full-on weirdness kind of album...not for everybody, but I love it. Manic Moonlight is a bit of the same...odd and more minimal.

An album like Tape Head is more straight ahead rock...good stuff. I'm also not into the self-titled album quite as much.
