I love it there more than any place I've ever been. It's my soulscape.

Spent 4 days in Wash D.C. a couple years ago and didn't see everything I wanted to see. Need to go back again one of these days..

Going to Spokane this weekend to visit my g/f's parental units. Should be fun.

of all the places that I have traveled, Maui definitely tops the charts. yes.gif

There was a place near Atascadero, CA that i visited once. the view was break taking. awesome paper thoughts place. I'd have to get into some old paper thoughts books to find the name of the place...

What's some of your favorite vacation cities, towns, spots, places you have been to that you have enjoyed in the US?

Well, I haven't travelled much at all so I don't have a wide breadth of knowledge on the subject; however, I absolutely love the beauty of northern Idaho (around Coeur d'Alene, Priest Lake, Lake Pend Oreille). Also, the area around here (Seattle) cannot be beat. It's gorgeous. Incredibly phenomenal woods, waterfalls, trails and mountains. I fell in love with the Washington and Oregon coasts a long, long time ago. Very beautiful and tranquil.

Having said all that... I would give anything to see New York City, especially Manhattan. Sometimes a busy, hectic city filled with the arts and foooooooood are exactly what I love.

and I'd give anything to move away from it. smile.gif

Sounds nice where you live. I'll bet there's some good off road bike trails out there.

I can't explain how I feel when I'm there.

The peace is unparalleled.

Yes...and the environment there is also a freak of nature. How can it be explained in one day was the record lowest and highest temperature.

I've only been once but plan to return. I did not get to see the racetrack or where the flat beds of granite are.

Manhattan.  I love the place.

I work in Manhattan and live across the river and all I can think about the last few months is Montana.

A place like that would be a close second. I haven't been there but I'm planning on it. Fo sho.
