  1. Donated blood last weekend for KLOS radio's blood drive (I had signed up before I knew they were sponsoring) and got a free lawn ticket for Judas Priest/Black Sabbath/Motorhead/Testament on Aug 30th.

  4. QUOTE (workingcinderellaman @ Jul 9 2008, 02:55 PM)(I wished I could find that sketch in its entirety) NBC always has YouTube take down the SNL stuff. I wish you could go to NBC's site and cherry pick skits and make your own 'Best of' DVD, that would rule.
  5. First cast or the 90s w/ Hartman, Meyers, Farley, Sandler, etc. Can't go wrong with either..
  6. QUOTE (Tull Fan Too @ Jun 18 2008, 04:29 PM)When I was growing up I was taught that Ozzy Ozbourne was a Satan-worshipper and should therefore be carefully avoided. Eventually I grew out of all that silly bulls**t and decided to see what Black Sabbath really sounded like. So I borrowed a copy of "We Sold Our Souls for Rock'n'Roll" from a friend. Same here. Heard the story about him biting off the bat's head and all that. One day my friend left behind a cassette of Blizzard of Ozz, so I took it home to listen to it first before returning it to him. Randy's guitar work just blew me away..
  7. Nice. I'll have to post this on the Maiden board I visit.
  8. QUOTE (ozzy85 @ Jun 18 2008, 10:12 AM)Same here! I heard Ozzy first, then Black Sabbath later. This was in the early '80's, so I actually thought Black Sabbath was a Dio band. It wasn't until someone brought me a copy of Paranoid that I believed Ozzy was in Sabbath! That reminds me of a funny story.. I had Speak of the Devil before I had Master of Reality... We're spending the weekend at my cousin's in Las Vegas. He is into metal too, and I look to see what he's got.. I pop in Master of Reality in the boom box as I'm going to bed after smoking a joint. I flick off the light and hit 'play'. It's pitch black and then the coughing intro started and scared the beejeebus out of me.
  9. Since Blizzard of Ozz was the album that got me into hard rock, Sabbath soon followed. Master of Reality is my fav w/ Ozzy and Heaven and Hell w/ Ronnie. Didn't think I'd ever see them live with Ozzy or Dio, but now I've seen them a couple times each thanks to the tours they've done in the last decade. And a couple years ago, I even got to meet Ozzy and Tony. Won a KLOS radio call-in contest for a Black Box CD set, then won the grand prize to meet them and sit in while they did the Rockline Radio show: http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y109/CRSCHKUM6/IMbb/Rockline_2004.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y109/CRSCHKUM6/IMbb/SG01.jpg Gibson SG signed by Tony

  11. QUOTE (GeddyLeeRoth @ Jun 12 2008, 06:22 AM) Question for Priest fans. I only own Metal Works on CD and haven't heard any of their earlier albums in like over 20 years. Which albums stand out as must haves? My faves are the ones that start with 'S': Stained Class Sad Wings of Destiny Sin After Sin Screaming for Vengeance
  12. On the first leg of the AoR tour, they brought back 'Exciter'. First time hearing it live beside on Unleashed in the East.

Complete album is streaming on MTV if you wanna listen.. How do I get the songs to play? I keep clicking on them and all I see are more ads...... There is a link in blue text that says 'Play all tracks'. Click on that and a Windows Media Player window will pop up. You can click the different track names to skip around if you don't wanna listen from start to finish.
