In Japan don't they throw submarine style? So it wouldn't really be that hard on his arm.

At some point as a batter, would you just stop swinging? Seriously.

Mercy rule should come into effect. Allowing it to go that long is sub mental. There were obviously a bunch of as-holes running the game.

What still bothers me the most is that they made that poor kid throw so damn many pitches. Potentially adding injury to insult.

It might make him a better outfielder?

A more likely first baseman, anyway.

Only in Japan would this seem to happen. It doesn't surprise me too much actually. These bastards love to punish themselves. I reckon it was the coach not knowing what to do so he pressed on at the pitcher's expense.

I wonder if the coach gutted himself with a samurai sword to avoid the shame laugh.gif

laugh.gif No. I'm sure the kid apologized and bowed low and long. The coach probably just said, "Daijobu?" (Are you alright?) or some crap like that laugh.gif

I think the coach was just waiting for the pitcher to work himself out of a jam...
