Pre season is just for getting ready for the real season but sometimes winning the last pre season game is a good boost to some teams. Has anyone heard about Hines and his new contract? Nope, they haven't signed him otherwise everybody in this city would be going nuts right about now. So far the only contract they've recetly extended was Casey Hampton. What a bummer, I hope they don't try to screw him over. They pretty much agreed with him that they would split the difference of what he was asking for and what they offered him. I wonder if losing Plaxico will help or hurt Hines production? I picked him up on my fantasy team so I hope his TD's are more abundant this year than last. He only scored 4 TD's last season although he did catch a lot of passes. I'd like to see him at least make 10 this season. With Bettis getting hurt and Duce hurt I guess we are going to start Willie Parker, I hope he can hang tough with the starting position. The Steelers will officially announce the signing Monday afternoon, Sept. 5. Financial terms were not disclosed. OK, time to buy me a Hines Ward Jersey.
