Best pizza I ever had was in NY. Somewhere in Greenwich I had one at a brink oven place, near a park. (bleaker street, john's maybe??) Small hole in the wall place, it was recommended to me by a cop I met in Times Square. You could only order a whole pie, no slices. It was amazing. White (duh) w/ ricotta cheese and diced tomoatoes and garlic. I drink beer w/ pizza, or soda. I found a great wine to go with pizza called Pasta Red. It's made at a winery out in the NYS fingerlakes region, at Knapp winery ( http://www.knappwine.com/index.html ). The wine is a sweeter red but is made to go with less casual italian meals, like a bowl of spaghetti and meatballs and pizza.
