Union 5-3992
Well when he pulled into Roger's Arena in Vancouver, he waved at me and the few others standing there. Doubt that counts ha ha

hobo73
I would be so bashful and turn bright red trying to talk to them- I get very shy very easily :P Just my luck I would run into Neil somewhere and be so terrified of accidentally offending him or invading his personal space LOLNothing wrong with how he is, but it would be awkward for me at least!

Starman.2112
What would I say if I were as lucky as you are to say one statement to Geddy? "Geddy, I would like to thank you for being a beacon of light in modern society for the cause of secularity and allowing millions of people the ability to come out and speak of such things in public like never before." I wonder if he hears that much?
Supersyl
I have met all 3 of them, together, ONCE, and I've met Alex several times. I would say Big Al is the most easy going of all three, but the one I have the most chances of running into, especially in February of each year is Neil, since his "cottage" is only about 10 minutes from ours in the Laurentians and we shop at some of the same stores... We have passed by his lake many times, on the way to a particular village... They're just normal people trying to live normal lives awy from the stage and all it's "craziness"....
Phantom
I met Ged and Al at the launch for Snakes and Arrows... both were really friendly. Alex a bit moreso. Geddy offered a big smile when I congratulated him on his sons upcoming wedding. That was pretty cool. I've met Al once on my own, as he was dining in the restaurant I was eating in. I waited until after he was done dinner, and his buddy had gone for a bathroom run.... it seemed like the least invasive way to say hello. He was the most gracious person I've ever met. Absolutely a delight. I'd be proud if my own kids turned out to be as kind as he is.

MMCXII
After a show in Toronto, I saw Geddy standing with a couple guys and I approached him. he was pretty friendly but didn't say too much. I managed to shake his hand and said "I want to say thank you for everything" or something like that.I didn't think I would be nervous but the words came out kinda shaky. He said something gracious but then there was an awkward silence so I kinda walked away.. then about 20 minutes later I'm walking and hear someone call my name.. it was Geddy! he was standing by his bus, so I walked over and said "how did you know my name??"he say's "your friend told me"So I look to where he's pointing and saw a cute young black woman sitting in a chair across from the bus. before I could say anything to her, Geddy said "jump on!"so I climbed onto the bus. there were a handful of people on it and it pulled out right away. Before long I realized that we were basically driving around Toronto looking for jogging routes for Geddy. then we finally arrive at a big hotel and all went in the back way. I remember walking through meeting rooms and back hallways until we finally got to his room which was on the ground floor facing the street with a nice small fenced yard... we all kinda just pigged out at the kitchen table while Geddy went for a jog. I didn't see him leave but when he got back I saw that he was wearing a pretty gay looking jogging outfit.. it was light blue and had these cheesy frilly things on it.. I was a little embarrassed for him but I didn't say anything.. I think that's when I woke up.. yes this was actually a DREAM I had LAST NIGHT, the best I could remember it!! lol I've never had a Rush dream before I don't think. definitely trippy! I know there was a lot more to this but I can't remember anything else. come to think of it I was on here and read this thread last night before I passed out.. I think this thread might have caused me to "meet" Geddy! and here I reporting back in the thread haha crazy!! Which is why I would hesitate ever approaching any one of them if I ran into them. I am very conscious of the fact that famous people prefer to be left alone when they are not "on".
