lonelymoon
congrats on compiling the worst setlist possible. dude, next time break the prozacs in half. a drum solo three tunes into the first set? How about Rivendell for second encore? and where are tom sawyer and closer to the heart in your setlist? someone who's never been to a show before will be expecting them. and you want "tears?" only if lerxst wears a leotard. Tvk
Terrible setlist. I would much rather see something like this: Part 1: "What The Hell Is This?" 01. Red Lenses 02. I Think I'm Going Bald 03. Tai Shan 04. Here Again 05. Cut To The Chase Intermission: Lerxst's rant from La Villa Strangiato The rap section of Roll The Bones Opening sequence with Jerry Stiller from R30 Part 2: "Covers Galore" 06. Kings Of Metal (Manowar-cover) 07. We're Not Gonna Take It (Twisted Sister-cover) 08. I Believe In A Thing Called Love (The Darkness-cover) 09. Hard Rock Hallelujah (Lordi-cover) 10. Sacred Power Of Raging Winds (Rhapsody-cover) Intermission: Synth-intro to 2112 on loop. Part 3: "Never before played live" 11. The Spirit Of Radio 12. Tom Sawyer 13. YYZ 14. Closer To The Heart 15. Limelight Intermission: Old recordings of Neil Peart drum solos on screen. Part 4: "Yawn" 16. 2112 17. The Fountain Of Lamneth 18. Hemispheres Encore: 19. Hope 20. The O' Sullivan Factor
Ok I've designed a setlist that can please everyone: Lights fade A lone spot light on Geddy A disco ball lowers from the ceiling 1st song: Roll the Bones Rap with no accompanyment except Alex beatboxing and Neil shaking a lemon ala Radiohead live which segues directly into: 2nd song: Hemispheres Then at the end of that a bunch of ninjas fall down from the ceiling as Neil counts in: 3rd song: 2112 medley: Oracle/Tears Right after Geddy sings: "What would touch me-" the disco ball returns and they break into a new song that they're saving for Feedback 2 4th song: A Cover of The Door's "Touch me" Acapella between Alex and Geds Then Geddy will do his usual introductions and they'll play: 5th song: I Think I'm Going Bald Which will segue right into 6th song: Hemispheres again Then the acoustic set will begin consisting of: 7th song: Hemispheres again (acoustic) and 8th song: Red Sector A (Acoustic) After that Neil will walk up to the mic and Ged will sit at the drums and then they'll play 9th song: Hemispheres yet again Then it'll be time for an encore so they'll play: 10th song: Drum Solo 11th song: The Speed of Love (with Alex singing lead and Neil playing guitar) 12th song: Far Cry with the solo everyone thought It should've had 13th song: A cover of "Dust in the Wind" 14th song: Medley of Tom Sawyer/Grand Designs intro/High Water/Closer to your Couch or whatever its called/Hemispheres/The Fountain of Lamneth/The Cinema Show/Roll The Bones/Test For Echo/Hemispheres/Jacob's Ladder/Drum Solo/Alex's La Villa Rant/A Passage to Bangkok/La Villa Strangiato/The Larger Bowl Then they'll all walk off only to return for a second encore consisting of: 15th song: Cover of "The Final Countdown" Then they'll smash their gear and close with an intense acapella medley of 16th song: Aha's "Take On Me"/Eye of the Tiger/The Final Countdown then the lights will fade and "Octavarium" Cd's will rain from the sky. pwnt
