Please don't discuss the political side of the presentation, but do appreicate the powerful messages in the photos.  This really moved me.

I got through about 10 seconds before I closed the window. Sorry, not for me at all...

I could post some of my nice beautiful macro-flowers -

But unfortunately, photojournalism isn't always a "happy" story. You have to report what goes on in the world. I think this was very well captured.

However, I do resepect your opinion on the matter.

There's the one shot where the soldier is laying in his bed with a far off look on his face as he stares out the tent. I thought that one really said a lot. All of them really capture tons of emotion, i love the "i'd rather be fishing" and "one weekend a month my ass" shots. Think it's kinda cool that we're probably the only fighting force that would allow statements made like that by the soldiers. Not getting political, but that's what those shots made me think.

Also how kind and loving our boys are being to these children that may one day grow to hate us even more than their parents. I hope it helps break that cycle.

I've watched it twice now Barn. Great link. yes.gif

Those of us who have seen war, see it always.
