She was featured in Geddy's "Are Bassists Human, Too?" series, and that was the first time I'd heard of her, but she was the bassist in Hole for their one hit, and then toured with Smashing Pumpkins post-peak. Like, did he extend an invitation to a bunch of people to see who would accept or did he kind of just say I'm going to do this and have everyone pitch it. Since she was one of the 4 in his Paramount+ thing maybe he finds something about her or her playing style that is appealing.
