If I did a blind listen to this, I would think some fan or tribute band vocalist did this, one that sounded a little like Phil Collins.

Yes. The AI can't quite get all the little nuances that Phil would have if he were to actually be singing on the track.

That's generally how I've always felt about Phil's singing.  I like his music, and prefer his era in Genesis, but he's not a great singer IMHO.

I wonder if replacing a singer with AI is tougher than plain dialogue, because dialogue can be done pretty convincingly.
