Still my favourite RHCP album - the greatness started from here...

Not my favorite by far but I do love it.

If someone told me this was the actual release order of these albums, with nothing in between, I wouldn't think twice.

Mariah Carey- Mariah Carey

The guitar work on Someday has me really wishing she rocked out more (label always toned that down for her, she loved rock as a teen)

Opeth- Blackwater Park

Paradise Lost- Paradise Lost

Trivium- Ascendancy

Paradise Lost-Medusa (7/10)

I liked this album.  I will Admit the doom aspects do get same-y and it makes the album seem way longer than it is.

I've never been big on this type of metal anyway.  BUT on the posity side it's still catchy.

The only gripe the band and fans have with this album is that they did slightly lose their melodic charm. I feel though the album kinda benefits from this as it truly has its own vibe

And then Obsidian came and delivered everything they have always been good at. Its basically their greatest hits haha

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Californication

The horribly brickwalled mastering will always keep this a pace behind BSSM for me, but in terms of writing and performance it really aught to stand toe to toe. The singles of course are arguably the best songs the band ever wrote.

"Here Come the Warm Jets" by Eno is fantastic.
