Synchronicity was the first album I ever listened to on vinyl, and the one that made me fall in love with vinyl. I will fight for it till the bitter end!

Outlandos is great, but lacks the sophistication in execution of the other three.

Born in the 50s is my fav deep cut.

If Outlandos had Fall Out and Landlord I might be inclined, but while it's a great debut and there are no bad Police albums, it's the weakest.

Zenyatta over synchronicity.

Better more aggro music. Way better lyrics

Not all sappy love tunes ready made for Mtv.

De Do Do Do...

Sappy but not the high fructose found on synchronicity.

We all know his greatest and most heart felt love song is be my girl - sally.

That was Andy.

The only track one might call a "love song" on Synchronicity is Wrapped Around your Finger, I guess. Hardly high fructose, considering the lyrics and Sting's explanation of the song as "a spiteful song about turning the tables on someone who had been in charge." Every Breath You Take isn't a love song, as we all know.

Some may prefer the lack of sophistication to corporate polished perfection.

Born in the 50s is a killer tune as is so lonely.

It seems that around here the police song you are most likely to hear on the local classic rock channel is Roxanne.

It may be the one song that most people associate with police? Maybe not? Certainly a easily identified opening riff.

Did not know that Andy wrote Sally thanks for correcting me. Good trivia.

They are all love songs in one way or another my eyes. Glad you enjoy them.

So the lyrics were Andy but the music was sting?

I’ve voted tactically for this round

( like many others have too I guess )

It’s definitely the closest & most

interesting Eliminations series so far.

A case can be made for every album to be the winner, which is fun.

Andy, older than Sting and Stewart, was a member of the psychedelic band Dantalian's Chariot. His guitar work was distinct, even then.
