BastillePark Posted June 20, 2024 Posted June 20, 2024 Pedantical fantastical rhetorical. This is the way. 1
BastillePark Posted June 20, 2024 Posted June 20, 2024 I went to a recruitment event once for concrete truck drivers (with concrete being the key word). At some point a guy asked a question about "cement" and the recruiter quickly corrected him and said that it's "concrete" because cement is what holds concrete together. 1
BastillePark Posted June 20, 2024 Posted June 20, 2024 The curb stomp scene in American History X is painful to even think about. 2

Here in my realm of civil engineering you look off your game or just incredibly green if you use cement/concrete in the wrong way
That One Guy Posted June 20, 2024 Author Posted June 20, 2024 Concrete production generates a lot of CO2!

jamie Posted June 20, 2024 Posted June 20, 2024 most of the time, i'm embarrassed by my cooking, but i need to get over that and share what i cook with my neighbors. it’s fun and it makes their day. 2
jamie Posted June 20, 2024 Posted June 20, 2024 i have a neighbor a couple slices of cake, and in exchange he gave us several pounds of spicy chicken patties. 2

Way less overhead. Food trucks are to eating out as trains are to traveling: as or more expensive then a full service experience and way slower. But some people love the experience 1

We’ll need to install thicker glass to keep the sound of the waves crashing from annoying us.

Guess that means I’ve gotta stay in the promised land out west, get one of those $1.7M California NIMBY single family homes near the coast
