I went to a recruitment event once for concrete truck drivers (with concrete being the key word). At some point a guy asked a question about "cement" and the recruiter quickly corrected him and said that it's "concrete" because cement is what holds concrete together.

Here in my realm of civil engineering you look off your game or just incredibly green if you use cement/concrete in the wrong way

Why are food trucks so damn popular?

Idk but it’s dumb and lucrative for the operators.

It's brilliant from the business side.  Way less overhead.

Food trucks are to eating out as trains are to traveling:  as or more expensive then a full service experience and way slower.  But  some people love the experience

Watching the sunrise over the Atlantic every morning will suck. We’ll need to install thicker glass to keep the sound of the waves crashing from annoying us.

As a practical matter, I’m likely to experience more sunsets than sunrises. Guess that means I’ve gotta stay in the promised land out west, get one of those $1.7M California NIMBY single family homes near the coast
