What cities in the US are reliably red? Any city at all over 250,000 people vote reliably red? Something other than the "it happened once!" example of Miami? As a place grows it gets less red. That's just a reality to deal with. The republican platform cannot survive the scrutiny of a lot of educated people in high density.
