lerxt1990
First show for me (in another town). What awesomeness.... I forgot some of the subtle things I liked so much. The more stripped down show. The Three Blind Mice/Three Stooges intro. And that moment in In The Mood where everyone raised their hands over their head and partied to that driving music. We didn't need Rolling stone OR commercial success - you were amongst 20K+ friends... Nostagic :) Setlist (full show):Three Stooges Intro 0:00:01The Spirit Of Radio 0:00:38Tom Sawyer 0:05:19Freewill 0:10:35Digital Man 0:15:59Subdivisions 0:22:42Vital Signs 0:28:05The Camera Eye 0:33:15Closer To The Heart 0:40:16Chemistry 0:43:45The Analog Kid 0:48:48Broon's Bane 0:53:50The Trees 0:55:20Red Barchetta 0:59:42The Weapon 1:06:10New World Man 1:14:10Limelight 1:18:08Countdown 1:22:532112 (Overture/Temples of Syrinx) 1:28:50Xanadu 1:35:06La Villa Strangiato 1:37:35In The Mood 1:41:00YYZ/Drum Solo/YYZ 1:44:40 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y-oiV9FVQ0M Edited September 25, 2020 by lerxt1990
zepphead
Super stuff!! I have a couple of nice 82/83 sets and they are just real good shows.Sadly I was not at any of these great shows. My first concert was 1980 and then life got in the way and my second was 2004!!

jnoble
I noticed starting with the Signals tour, someone must have told Geddy to look more lively on stage or something. He had some pretty goofy moves and dances going lol
HemiBeers
Signals tour was my first rock concert as well. Took the city bus from the college dorms out to the local hockey arena with only plans to walk back. Fortunately, met some dormmates who I got a ride with. I remember seeing them looking really GQ looking with shorter hair...unlike my wall posters. Also remember Geddy beefing it during one of his solo breaks in YYZ and looking rather pissed about it. Oh my God...he IS human! Being mostly festival standing room on an empty hockey rink, I was about to maneuver my way to within 25 feet of the stage. Awesome night!
Lurkst
A criminally underdocumented tour, given the band's stature at the time. This is as good a record of it as I've seen.

A real sweet spot of time w the music, vocals, setlist.

I couldn't ask for a better setlist. EDIT: They played the entire MP album (minus Witch Hunt). Amazeballs.
