Disco Posted October 5, 2023 Posted October 5, 2023 I'm enjoying Love Can Heal by Peter Gabriel. It has a very direct lyric; not matter what mess you're in, no matter how you got there, love can heal. What lifts this simple truth into something of depth is the musical setting. Peter Gabriel has described the choruses as (words to the effect of) a warm soft blanket. To me, it sounds like the safety, stillness and connection you feel when holding and being held by a loved one. It's a beautiful thing to capture in music. Love to all Disco 1
