But once Some Girls made the list, a popular but pretty straight forward Stones rocker, I admittedly threw a couple, "Priest sold out with Turbo those p*ssies!" selections on there. Mea culpa in that regard.

Rick N. Backer
For the record, Turbo isn't a pop album IMO. Neither is 90125 or Moving Pictures or Eliminator. But The Smithereens and Talking Heads and Bowie aren't pop either.

Rick N. Backer
You could make an argument for some rockier albums being pretty pop sounding as well, but yeah a number of non pop choices have made it on the list so far. Give me an example of a rock album you would also call pop. Panic at the Disco - Death Of a Bachelor Pop played by a rock ensemble. I've heard OF them, but to be honest I've never heard them. But I've got it on youtube right now. EDIT: I'm not sure I'd call this pop personally. It's accessible I suppose. Kudos for sampling the B-52s on the second track. Another popular band I wouldn't call pop BTW. Edited December 1, 2018 by Rick N. Backer
