Favorite of the 90s overall is Built to Spill's Perfect from Now On.

I'd still rank Facelift and Dirt higher BUT this is a very good album and my winner for releases that year.

Of the three, I picked Mellon Collie, but none hold a candle to Pulp's Different Class ( best album of the 90s )

You can do it. I have the "luck" of someone posting "You forgot (X)" even when I include the maximum 40 choices with 1 "other" option.

 

Yeah, Screaming Trees' Dust would be my #1. Smashing Pumpkins' Siamese Dream, Jane's Addiction's Ritual de lo habitual, Beck's Odelay, Alice in Chains' Dirt, Tool's Aenima, and Rusted Root's When I Woke would all be way up on the list. And all of them I'd rank higher than any 90s Rush album if I think about it.

On some days it's my favorite from the 90s. It's at least in my top 3 from that decade.

It's also one of my favorite debut albums of all time.

Oasis for me by a whole lot.

 

Radiohead is vastly over rated. Smashing Pumpkins are solid, but the Oasis album is fantastic from beginning to end. One of my favorites from the entire decade of the 90's.

If I had to choose, Mellon Collie. I've heard the Oasis album also.

I picked The Bends, but I must say, over the years, Mellon Collie has grown on me, from full grown hate to humbled admiration. The problem is I think it's way overblown. Edit it down and it's a no-brainer. I think "1979" is light years better than any song on The Bends and Morning Glory. Oh yeah, Oasis can be so damn boring.
