Texas King
I like both, but in my book Rust in Peace blows away any Dream Theater album.

Entre_Perpetuo
Oh my. Next to fav DT Vs. Currently my favorite thrash metal (maybe just plain metal) album (which I'm currently listening to). That sounds easier than it is. Freewill.
ytserush
Not the Best Dream Theater album but I'm not much of a Megadeth fan so WTF.
LedRush
Not the Best Dream Theater album but I'm not much of a Megadeth fan so WTF. I'm in the same exact boat. I like a few DT albums better than Images and Words, and Rust in Peace is my favorite Megadeth album, but I still have to go with DT on this. PolarizeMe
I don't consider myself a huge Megadeth fan at all (I've only listened to/enjoyed everything from Peace Sells up to Youthanasia), and I've fallen out w/Dream Theater to a large degree in recent years. But that said, Rust In Peace, no doubt about it.
thirteen
Rust in Peace. And Marty Friedman's solos throughout the album are perfection IMO. Edited April 8, 2017 by thirteen
Rick N. Backer
I like both, but in my book Rust in Peace blows away any Dream Theater album. In fairness, you could say the same about virtually any other album that has ever been recorded. Except maybe another Dream Theater album.
Segue Myles
I got infatuated briefly with DT but I'm contemplating selling my albums. Not a fan really. As for Megadeth...great band I just get bored lol
Digital Dad
For me DT didnt make a great album until Metropolis. But Rust is still better than anyhing DT did.
