While on a break from his television series, Hitch gave up his usual $250,000 director's salary when Paramount refused the project .. Hitch asked for no guaranteed salary, but was so confident with the idea proposed that he get a 60% cut of the box office - good move ... He used his TV crew and filmed a classic ..

Well the door was opened for such choices way back at #2 allowing a thematic trilogy so I see no reason why we can't pick a movie and it's story-related sequel like I previously did with Frankenstein/Bride Of F... or an original and it's remake like I did with Infernal Affairs/The Departed.

I was going to do one of my 'double feature' picks by pairing Psycho with the much lesser known Peeping Tom but Lucas beat me to PT and I have too many films I'd rather go with ahead of Psycho.
