homeward-angel-on-the-fly
That album is my absolute favourite Rush album, yet, they only played 3 songs from it. Earthshine, One Little Victory and Ceiling Unlimited. Wth? Usually they try to play almost all the songs from it, but not that one. So disappointed Don't forget when they alternated Ghost Rider with Ceiling(coolest song BTW) Yeah, guess that's true. Which one do you think is coolest? Ghost Rider or Ceiling Unlimited? :P

GabesCavesOfIce
One bad move on this tour and the next couple was that they played too many shows, wearing Neil down, and then he didn't have enough juice left for even a shortened second leg on R40. Damn, had to wait 34 years for a set list that good.

jnoble
The biggest mistake of all: Where was Subdivisions? That's why I hate most of the 1990s setlists. They made a huge mistake when they started cutting hits for new songs that didn't go over well. I mean, on the Presto tour, they thought it was a good idea to cut f***in' The Spirit Of Radio for the beginning of the tour. Neil said they were getting tired of playing Spirit so they took a break from it at that point in time
jnoble
slightly different topic, but I was disappointed that they skipped over 4 albums including 3 in a row for the R40 tour. If you're going to do a nostalgia tour touching on all phases of your career, then play at least one song per album! No cheating! My alternate set list for R40 first half with alternate songs:CA: title track / AnarchistSnakes: Far Cry/ MMBVT: OLV / How It IsTFE: Test For Echo / Driven / Half The World CP: Stick It Out / Cut To The Chase/ Between Sun& MoonRTB: Dreamline/title trackPresto: Show Don't Tell/Presto/The PassHYF: Force 10/Turn The Page/Time Stand Still/Mission The rest can stay the same Make time for the extra songs by only playing one song from each album

Other than that I tend to agree. But it seems they decided that the period from 82-91 had been adequately covered on the previous tour.

I'd rather hear Subdivisions than Vapor Trail any day Why? There are already 6 official versions of that, not counting the 1000's of times it's made it to bootlegs. Vapor trail has not one single live recording. I would drop any or all of their hits in a heartbeat to hear some more rare songs.
