I think a year on the road has done them a lot of good as the show seemed better than last year's. The band is tight and the new bassist (definitely a girl) is a good player who fits in well. Papa seems like he has more confidence onstage, and a few times his vocals varied just enough so that you could tell he was singing live (as opposed to sounding exactly like the records the last time I saw them). I'm really happy I get to see them again tomorrow! Oh yeah, they didn't have the amazing light show like they had last year. It was nice, but no great projections on the band like I remember. But honestly, they could have foccused on three new tracks instead of covers and one new track. I liked the If You Have Ghost EP though. Those covers are much better, Agreed.
