  1. I do believe they've got another album in them, probably two. I do believe the touring, of any magnitude, will be over after August 1st. I do believe there will be maybe 1 or 2 per year live one night 5 song performances for either charity, a festival or as an opening act guest appearance.
  2. 1. La Villa 2. YYZ 3. Mal Nar 4. TMMB 5. LTTA
  3. Yes...Here Again and Before and After are great tunes... I life the funky groove of Need Some Love and Take a Friend... Good old Rock-n-Roll...70's style. What You're Doing is fun...and I guess the band agrees.
  4. I think it's simplisticly cool... But 60's hair doos and panties are cooler.
  5. Oh my...Where do I start... His mis-pronounced last name really irks me at times... And the African dew rag thing is a bit unsettling... And I have noticed several run-on sentences over the years. And the refusal to grow a mustache is maddening!! Other than that,,,I really love our mis-understood little drummer boy.
  6. If Montreal resets to the A setlist... My shows, the last two in Irvine and Los Angeles would be A & B...meaning no YYZ & Natural Science... I have a hard time believing that the last show in LA would have no YYZ. I would give up YYZ for The Camera Eye, Red Barchetta or Losing it... Although, Natural Science would be greatly missed... Still, would Rush not play YYZ, on the final show of possibly their final tour? None of this really matters that much to me... I am going to see Rush live on the last two nights of the Tour... I am a very appreciative and lucky man.
  7. They should record Las Vegas or Los Angeles and try and capture some magic for the DVD.... Maybe redeem themselves a little from the first set in TO.
  8. I like Rivendell. I am a big J.R.R.Tolkien fan and in my younger days I used to smoke a lot of pot. :smoke: I do not want to hear it live. Sure I get a little chuckle when it comes on my playlist....but I like it.
  9. Maybe after Rush officially retires...the industry will adopt a new genre called Head Rush Rock.... For all the bands the don't fit neatly into Heavy Metal, Hard Rock, Classic Rock, Progressive Rock, Arena Rock, etc.
  10. Great job... Although, I think my Grandma has the same blouse as Geddy's.
  11. Less than 12 hours TIER 300 - 4 tickets from $100 - $130 CLUB BOXES - 4 tickets at $186 per TIER 200 - 16 tickets from $146 - $250 TIER 100 - 29 tickets from $156 - $347 FLOOR - 10 tickets from $221 - $578 63 seats remain With about 6:45 hours remaining... TIER 300 - 4 tickets from $116 - $130 CLUB BOXES - 4 tickets from @ $152 per TIER 200 - 10 tickets from $140 - $250 TIER 100 - 35 tickets from $140 - $290 FLOOR - 10 tickets from $186 - $577 63 seats remain If the tickets are on stubhub, haven't they already been bought and now are trying to resale? Is it already considered a sell out if Ticketmaster/Livenation/etc. does not have any tickets left? I am not familiar with stubhub's policy...can these seat only be resold by the original buyer? or can they be released/redeemed back into the ticketmaster/venue market? I am all for sellouts...but it would also serve justice for the stubhub ticket holder who overly inflates the price for resale to be left holding an unsold ticket after the show.
  12. Holy Crap! I hope you're never on the bottom. There's a forum for ER staff I read on occasion, just for the laughs and because I am continually amazed at the stupidity and weirdness our species is capable of. Anyway, someone posted about treating a 300+ lb woman who was pregnant. I don't remember all of the specific details or how the doctor found out this horrifying bit of information, but it turns out that Gargantuan Woman had her sister hold up her fat rolls so her (Gargantuan Woman's) husband could access the appropriate entrance for impregnation. :scared: :scared: :scared: ER stories are the best. I had a teacher in high school who's brother was an ER doctor. He told us a story about a young woman who's room mate and boyfriend went out for an evening at the theater. The woman assumed she would have the apartment to herself, so she started masturbating with a large cucumber. Well, her room mate forgot her tickets and walked in on her riding the cucumber, and in the panic, her muscles locked in on the vegetable, and the cucumber could not be removed. They took her to the ER, and the doctor examined her. Since she was quite attractive, the doctor asked his buddy to examine her for a "second opinion". ;) His buddy suggested giving her a muscle relaxer and then they could all have a salad. :LMAO: And I thought my post was disturbing......But in the defense of disturbing posts everywhere... Maybe she should have just waited a couple days... until it turned into a pickle...and saved herself the ER bill.
  13. That is one of the Top 10 beers in the World...
  14. If you've got Pooh, Tigger and music.....You've got a happy place primed for hanging out.
  15. Wide-Angle Watcher, as most know, is a Rush lyric from Moving Pictures' The Camera Eye. ...Wide-angle watcher On life's ancient tales, Steeped in the history of London... I guess it means, as a camera or as a person, to catch it all, look at the big picture and soak it all in. I love The Camera Eye and all it's lyrics and I am an avid photographer, so I think it fits me well.
  16. After sex ?....No way. It is before sex where I tend to feel a little depressive apprehension. http://i815.photobucket.com/albums/zz77/tanhuntland/fat-sexy-woman.jpg

  20. My current avatar is my Happy Place...My music room / bar / laughing room.... I hope it is not offensive to anyone... I am going there now...
  21. That's funny...And reminds me of a similar story. Back in 1990, on the Presto Tour, my wife was like 10 months pregnant but i still wanted to go to the Rush show. It was before the cell phone era and all we had were pagers. After much debate, she said I could go but if she paged me with our predetermined code, I had better get to the hospital immediately. Well sure has can be I got a page about 10 minutes before the start of the show, but with no code #. I thought should I just drive directly to the hospital or try and phone home to catch her. Luckily I found a pay phone inside the arena and called her... She answered and said, " I hate you...but I love you...So go back and enjoy the show " We had are first born son about 13 hours later.
  22. How important is Rush?....Mmmmm? You've got your Family, Friends, Health, Faith, and Career coming in as Top 5 Then your love of Animals, Art, Charity, Knowledge and Music rounding out the Top 10 Listening to ( and understanding ) Rush and playing a few instruments personally are the highlights of my love of Music. When I had a near death experience in 2001....My Top 5 were ever present. When I eventually came out the coma...I asked, "How are my dog, cat, fish, guinea pigs and tortoises doing" .... And then they said I asked for a portable cd player and some Rush discs, which helped in my long road to recovery. Whether you're healthy, dying or in between ; The things that are important to you tend to surround you. So, it's not that surprising to me that Rush ranks up there very high in the things that are important to me.
