this made me laugh so much I thought I was gonna flood the bed! Why doesn't a mod get rid of this one, eh? It's way more revealing and disgusting to boot. Double standard. Why is it disgusting? Do overweight people offend you? Not if they keep their clothes on and behave normally. I don't want to see some skinny guy doing that either. But if topless or even bathing suit attired women can't be shown for some prudish reason, why is that allowed? Well, context. I don't think that anybody is getting a hard-on or a lady-boner looking at this, it's humorous and for laughs. Overweight people do not need to "keep their clothes on and behave normally." Wow. Do you have an issue with chubby girls in two piece swimsuits as well? Depends on the level of chubbiness. Since it seems we can't post bikini clad women, it would be difficult to show examples but I certainly don't mind a woman that is considered full figured. But a woman that size of that guy^^^^^^, shouldn't be wearing a bikini any more than he should be wearing a speedo.

  4. As with all of these things, it comes down to opinion. Also, some folks are offended entirely too easily and for silly reasons.
  5. Ok, I'll bite. Why does this, in any way, show that men are horrible? Because for the most part men treat women like disposable garbage to be thrown out past a certain age, which sadly is much younger than I expected but I'm not at all surprised. You must travel in some very bad/limited circles or read a lot of feminazi propaganda. Sure, there are some men who treat women badly, but I'd bet there are a lot more who don't. For every man who treats a woman as "disposable garbage" (as opposed to garbage you'd want to keep), there is a young woman who is in a relationship with an older, rich guy for the perks. It works both ways. Yeah as much as I'd like those two things you mentioned to be the case they aren't. Your mention of how older, richer men go for younger women kind of proves my point. Do you honestly think that that "older, richer men" going for younger women is a one way street? If so, you're deluding yourself and when you make statements like, "Yeah as much as I'd like those two things you mentioned to be the case they aren't" it tells me you pretty much are. What would cause a younger woman to go for a much older man? Sure, some of them might be in love, but a sizable number of them see dollar signs and/or material things. Besides, an older man can only acquire a younger woman if she agrees.
  6. There's a store on the Big Island that sells malted milk balls that have LOTS of chocolate and they call them Donkey Balls.

  8. Is it really any surprise that the TPB has Rush references, eh? It's no longer news, imo.
  9. There's a very small town in Illinois named Rushville.
  10. Indeed. Alex has a habit of saying a lot of crap that turns out to not be correct. I wouldn't believe anything he said unless he was talking about a past tour that I'd witnessed myself.
  11. Personally, I don't care for the schtick on the Colbert Show so I'm looking forward to how he'll be on the Late Show. The character he does wouldn't work well on that show, imo.
  12. Having visited Portland and knowing people who live there, it's very accurate and funny.
  13. Like it's hot or otherwise?
  14. Back and forth between college hoops and NASCAR.
  15. Not very but one person who thinks I am is my wife so that's all I need. I'm about as unattractive as Geddy (if you polled 100 women who didn't know who he is or what he does for a living, I contend at least 85 of them would say he's unattractive or very unattractive).
  16. Is it cake? Is it Pi? Is it Pi cake? (Think CatDog). http://ic.pics.livejournal.com/mlsky/8037514/21655/21655_original.jpg
  17. That would have involved global warming or internet invention.
  18. These lists are pointless and only foster people expressing opinions based on what band(s) they like. Probably the only way to get an accurate list would be to have drummers fill out an anonymous ballot. That being said, Danny Carey being that far down the list is ridiculous. :eyeroll:
  19. Pardon me? First off, maybe it's hard for *you* to grasp, but homophobia has always existed regardless of what it may have been called. If you think that the elimination of homophobia and hatred is a bad thing, well then, I'm very glad you are not a friend of mine. Secondly, are you doubting my intelligence? What makes you think you know what I understood as a child? Not that I have to explain anything to you, but I was not a small child when All In The Family was aired. It aired from when I was 7 until I was 15, and I was most certainly able to see and identify misogyny at that age. No, homophobia hasn't "always" existed. A very long time ago, homosexuals were way back in the closet and very few people knew about them and therefore had nothing to "fear". As for the word homophobia, it is a huge misnomer as "phobia" is the irrational fear of something. The person who first used it either was ignorant of that or purposely used it to make a point. Probably an angry gay who wanted those who disagree with that lifestyle to appear as bad as possible. And I still don't believe you knew the word misogynist at age 7 but that has nothing to do with your intelligence.
  20. Transsiberian tonight and the extended, R rated Anchorman II tomorrow.
  21. Yes it can by Permanent Waves, Moving Pictures, Hemispheres, and Grace Under Pressure to name but 4.
  22. If Neil is so good, why, as a very experienced drummer, did he go see McGruber to try and learn something? If he's the best, doesn't that indicate he should be doing the teaching? He wouldn't have to learn anything from anyone because he's already doing those things.
  23. There was no such thing as homophobia in those days. Maybe it's hard for you to grasp, but he was playing a character and a very funny one at that. PC society is taking over and that's a bad thing. Do you really expect us to believe you even knew the word misogynistic much less what it meant as a kid? I smell "Monday morning All In The Family".
