  1. Here's what I posted on facebook: I agree with the anger and and the unfairness of not knowing where your seat is, BUT we all know there are people out there who will buy the seats anyway. There are fans who try to get good seats each tour and end up in the nose bleeds, so for them ANYWHERE within 15 rows is a good thing. As long as people continue to buy these seats (and you know people will) VIPNation has no reason to change.
  2. QUOTE (danielmclark @ Apr 24 2012, 02:58 PM) Songs they *shouldn't* play? Tom Sawyer Limelight Subdivisions Freewill Spirit of Radio Working Man 2112 Overture/Temples Songs we almost assuredly *will* hear? See above. I agree with all except 2112. Also add Red Barchetta in there. Somebody should start a petition asking Rush to NOT play certain songs.
  3. The Weapon Hemi-even very abbreviated would be great Cygnus X-1 Kid Gloves
  4. I love Survivor and also watch the Amazing Race. I know it's been edited to hell and back but these 2 shows still amuse me. I do NOT think the people from any reality show should become a "celebrity", they had their 15 minutes of fame on the show, that's enough!
  5. I'm really pissed they skipped Colorado again!!! I'm going to drive to the Vegas and Arizona shows. They are the closest to me
  6. 7. I will watch the setlist as it's being posted in real time.
  8. Happy Anniversary Tully! You picked a good date to join.
  9. I heard it here in Denver (big surprise!) but I came into it when Alex was ripping so I didn't hear it all. What I heard sounded ok, though.
  10. I got in the car turned on the radio and it was playing, which is amazing for Denver lol. The DJ's called it tremendous and said if they were Rush fans they would be waiting at the store the day the CD came out.
  11. I honestly would see RS doing it to stick it to Rush yet again! Does anyone know how long after the RS leak Rush.com put up the video? The boys' surely would've known about the leak and maybe they tried to do damage control by putting it out on their own website.
  12. I read somewhere that only a "portion" of CA is concept. So maybe that portion only played as a set of songs I'd love it if they ditched all the "standard" hits they play every tour and played all of CA or 2112.
  13. He gave a lot of bands the chance to jump start a career! RIP Dick!
  14. I am hoping 2013 will see more shows so we get one here in Denver. There are missing a whole party of the lower mid-west & mountain states. Looks like I will drive to Arizona and Vegas to see them this time.
  15. No orchestra! Rush is just Neil, Ged and Al. You just can't change that dynamic!
  16. QUOTE (Snaked @ Apr 19 2012, 06:51 AM) 33 dates would lead me to believe there will be another leg in 2013. Too many cities not on the list including (but not limited to): Denver Salt Lake City Milwaukee Manhattan Fort Lauderdale/Miami Raleigh The list goes on and on with the cities that arent represented on this leg. I'm guessing we'll see a minimum of 37 shows in 2013 I think and am hoping they will break for the holidays and then continue in the spring.
  17. QUOTE (Kelly D @ Apr 19 2012, 05:38 AM) QUOTE (Snaked @ Apr 19 2012, 07:28 AM) Ticket prices are starting to appear on Ticketmaster http://www.ticketmaster.com/artist/807344 Opening Night - Manchester NH $107.45 after TM fees Detroit $138.70 after fees. And that's not even counting the broker sites *facepalm* I ABSOLUTELY HATE being disabled, but I do like the fact that I can get seats within the first three rows for face value and NOT have to pay a scalper.
  18. QUOTE (metaldad @ Apr 19 2012, 05:55 AM) These packages should be done away with. I am going to shell out all that cash to get a ticket in the first 15 rows ? Live Nation/ Ticketmaster blows ^^ hate Ticketmaster!
  19. QUOTE (treeduck @ Apr 18 2012, 11:41 PM) Of course you punks, it ROCKS and it's METAL! ^^ I agree with Ducky! To my ears it goes back to heavier, earlier Rush and I love that!
  20. QUOTE (g under p @ Apr 18 2012, 05:53 PM) I think I've listened to it atleast 10 times in row now...can't get enough of it. Pissed though on their tour starting in Manchester NH Sept. 07 they will ONLY make one stop in Florida and that's in Tampa. Well that's a 4 hour drive to Tampa last time they came through it was 10 minutes In WPB and 40 mins in Sunrise. So I gather I'm due for a long trip and they didn't play Tampa on their last tour. Peace At least they are playing somewhere near you, they've forgotten the entire lower mountain /midwestern area pretty much. The closest for me is Arizona. The song KICKS ASS!!
  21. QUOTE (Priest of Syrinx @ Apr 16 2012, 12:32 PM) Zep = Awesome ^^ agree!
  22. QUOTE (Unattractive Truth @ Apr 16 2012, 04:05 PM) QUOTE (bigman208 @ Apr 14 2012, 08:03 AM) Checked out their setlists for the last few shows, it looks like Hear About It Later is back in at the expense of Jamie's Cryin, at least for now. Also, The Trouble With Never has returned, and Blood And Fire is out. I hope Blood and Fire is back in by the time my show finally rolls around. I LOVE that song. I like the fact that they are changing songs around, and are not afraid to move away from the original set list they started with.
  23. I'm underwhelmed with the cover but as long as the songs kick ass I don't care!
  24. Been a fan since 1976 and I've listened to all the songs a number of times. We've all got our favorites and those we don't like. Enjoy listening to the whole catalog and making your own decisions about what works for you and what doesn't.
