Getting Neil's drumsticks on my 20th birthday at Greatwoods and getting Alex and Geddy's picks (as well as an unused pair of Neil's sticks) from Alex at Mohegan Sun in 2008. Getting a Gershon's T-shirt from Geddy Lee and sitting front row with two Geddicorns at SPAC in 2010. Getting lots of attention from Alex at the MSG and Cleveland shows with mommy_of_zuzu (and getting a pick from him at the MSG show)! EL PASO! Getting personal attention from Alex, a personalized R30 pick, Neil's used drumsticks, a private conversation/picture with Alex during "Love 4 Sale/Moto Perpetuo," a Slobovich shirt, and a blown kiss from Al at the end of the show! Alex saying "KELLY!" after he saw me in the fourth row during my favorite song ("Time Stand Still") at the Gorge during the last show of the Time Machine Tour <3 Appearing on the Cleveland Time Machine DVD at least five times (during "BU2B," "Caravan," "Closer to the Heart," and "La Villa Strangiato") rocking the f@#$ out!, Alex and Geddy saying hi to my mom at the Bridgeport show, Alex recognizing me in Toronto and calling me by name and asking about my mom, getting Neil's drumsticks simply for weeping my heart out during "The Garden," getting a shirt hand-delivered to me on behalf of Geddy in Houston because I got screwed out of one in Phoenix!

Good to see you on here! :D GUUUURL like I wouldn't recognize that username :P
  2. Thanks for the help, guys, you ease my strain a bit :)

  4. :hi: :hi: :hi: :guitar: Oh hey! Haven't been on much, as you may recall :P
  5. Maybe they'll go back to the Hollywood Bowl, eh? I saw them at the Gibson last year. Awesome venue- small, indoors, with the amphitheater set-up which definitely appeals to me. Bummer that they're closing it. . .
  6. I posted this in the AC pre-show meetup thread but does anyone have the scoop on parking? I'm panicking because I need to get from MA to NJ by showtime (a 5-hour drive, at the very least) on the 11th and I'll need to put my car somewhere before I run to the arena. Any help?
  7. I was in Austin and it was actually hilarious to see all the "BLAH"s. Both Alex and Geddy appreciated the sea of "BLAH" signs. The novelty may wear off, but for opening night it was perfect.
  8. I must say the TMT were wayyyyy funnier but these have their moments. The shorter skits make room for more tunes too ya know ;)
  9. Yeah. . . Ummmm. . . Your loss dude. Don't tell me what to do.
  10. QUOTE (CygnusGal @ Oct 12 2012, 07:33 PM) QUOTE (brianb23 @ Oct 12 2012, 09:59 AM) QUOTE (Kelly D @ Jun 5 2012, 08:05 AM) QUOTE (Rushchick10 @ Apr 26 2011, 02:52 PM) QUOTE (SeamusWiles @ Apr 26 2011, 02:10 PM) there needs to be a RUSH dating site... I'd be all over that!! And, if a dude happens to look like Geddy, I'd be all over him, too! One of the reasons why I got together with Chris, lead singer of Lotus Land (and, of course, his beautiful soul, sparkling personality, and massive talent)! ;D so reading forums and again you keep popping up on my searches... a few friends keep telling me to go and see LotusLand, and i know they are coming around my area, so i may do it when they come around again, I live in RI on border to MA... I lived next door to Chris (Geddy) for several years. He is an excellent musician. I haven't seen the band, but I've heard him play. He is a phenomenal guitarist. I've heard their show is very good. I think they made MANY fans a few Saturdays ago!
  11. QUOTE (Janie @ Sep 13 2012, 11:59 AM) Interesting website. I'll have to peruse it a bit more. I'm a huge fitness fanatic who sort of fell off the diet and exercise wagon and scrambling to hop back on. I'm a big runner and trying to get myself back to running a long distance. I used to go to the gym too but that's what burned me out. I was running every day and going to the gym 3-4 days a week. Kelly, what kind of exercise do you do? I play frisbee and ride my bike mostly- you also can log in calorie-burning exercising like cleaning your house or even preparing food!
  12. QUOTE (Amy Farrah Fowler @ Sep 13 2012, 12:25 PM) I've been on it for a year and a half. Completely fell off the wagon and gained back all I lost. *cry* I would love to have some accountability again and support from people that share interests with me. My username is ispinwebs. I'll add you!
  13. QUOTE (Ya_Big_Tree @ Sep 13 2012, 11:38 AM) Tell me more about this app. I am on a fitness quest currently myself. First, you tell it how much you weigh, if you're a female/male, how active you are, and how much weight you'd like to lose (or maintain). Then it generates how many calories you should consume each day. You get an exercise recommendation too, and you get more calories the more you exercise. I find it extremely useful because I'm a list-oriented person and I need to keep track of everything visually. Also, in terms of the Hawthorne experiment (where people performed better at their job because they knew they were being watched), it's great to be held accountable for all I put in my mouth! I've lost nine pounds since June and I feel worlds better than I used to!
  14. I've been on a fitness quest since June and have completely revitalized myself using myfitnesspal.com and its iPhone app- does anyone else use it? I'd love to be friends!
