  1. I was 5 #s away from winning the 60 million dollar Lotto max ... lol... Trust me if I hit it -i will be buying it and restoring the sacred grounds for everyone here . The sign is ready to be hung.
  2. Seen the Police on their reunion tour in 07/08 in Toronto - awesome - that DVD is a must have!! IMO- Stings solo stuff -is fantastic he rounded up some of the finest session musicians of the era. 10 Sumnors tales is a great disc.I highly regard Sting as a musician and song writer. He would be a bugger to work with though. Noteworthy: Dream of the Blue Turtles is a product of LeStudio-Morin Heights . Every little Thing was also recorded there and so were the overdubs to Syncronicity Around that time -Stewart Copeland picked up with a local band one nite in Morin Heights and gave his cymbals to their drummer
  3. Take it easy on Neil- he grew up in St. Catherines,ON. about an 1.5 hr .away from Toronto and was not even involved with Pre- fly by night Rush projects,or Willowdale/Toronto and what John Tory our mayor did by giving RUSH the key to the city is a great thing!!! . Toronto- Willowdale is all about Geddy and Alex growing up there- elementary- high school- even John Rutsey long before Neil so of course Al and Ged will attend..to premote the city in their home town.. . Its highly likely Neil is busy with the (retired Family)in California).-but FOR SURE will be tuned in to this. no different than neil arriving at a venue on a bike- and Geddy and Alex doing meet and greets .. Cheers John Tory great job brother

  7. Love the Album Overall- It is way to trebelly-- surprised as it was done at Morin Heights-usually near perfect past results something must have happened to the final mix needs more Bass- less Mid range less Trebel. Somebody must have had the settings off but not notice it in the playback- great songs though
  8. how about a Christmas Song Album--Great White North 2-eh?
  9. GUP is a great sounding album- another fine product of LeStudio's state of art recording equiptment and majestic surroundings so we cant blame the technology or or atmosphere. The band especially Geddy had to take ownership of this project and do alot of their own editing and mixing because they did not get the result by Henderson they expected. This album was one of the hardest efforts, mentally draining and took the longest to record due to this. Geddy had a tough time enjoying this album and the final result of it left them wondering how the fans would receive it. Alot was weird in the music industry in 1984. I think they did a great job for a new type of Rush sound and put forth their technical abilities as Rush always does. They were really tight on this tour too . This was my first RUSH concert - 1st row floors at maple leaf gardens Toronto- years later I learned it made it to the video too. I think Terry Brown may have have helped make this album go alot smoother and quicker making everyone more comfortable but for the new- wave approach they were going after -I doubt he could have made it heavier. RIP: Robbie Whealen ....
  10. I put a projector in the back yard fence with the guitar amps - 45 people came - what a party -great performance by the Hip- legendary
  11. Their recording contract calls for a complete rebuild of LeStudio Morin Heights and 2 new albums to be recorded there.. That is my ultimate Rushscape....
  12. Thanks guys - 10 years here today - Great bunch of people you are .. Cheers
  13. Yeah, I just saw that. The person doesn't even have up how they intend to do it or anything; it pretty much seems like a scam. :( :( You probably saw some of my comments as well. I can't believe people are donating money to this guy. He's posted all over the groups. After reading some of his comments, I should say, it looks like a huge scam! :o The things that people donate to, it makes you wonder. I'm seriously surprised that the admins for the groups aren't getting rid of the posts. Who Richard Baxter??????????????????
  14. I thought triumph did all their work at metal works in mississauga. Gil Moore ( Drummer ) still owns it. When did they mix on the SSL at LeStudio??
  15. checking my Lotto max for the 50 million ... standby cause if I win will invest 10 mil to restore the studio for all Rush fans.. I already have the sign ready,,,,
