  1. Absolute insanity. Listened to 3 of the tracks. Wow. Just wow.
  2. Holy shit. This is going to be amazing.
  3. The consensus on our team meeting this morning was that yesterday was a very good day.
  4. My view from before to almost the end. No totality where I live... But good enough for a couple of times in a lifetime kind of event.
  5. The Great Gazoo is up there too.
  6. I was really hoping for the 3rd album with Axl. He did bring a new vibe to the band when he was subbing.
  7. Doesn't matter, it still sucks. With the resources available it would not have been difficult to make a high quality boot official, and AI up the sound. SUCK.
  8. The 4.8 this morning and the aftershock were bout 1/2 mile from each other. Under some guys farm, and under a small lake/pond. Funny thing is that I know the place. I used to play hookey from work in the Warren, NJ are early last decade - used to jsst go out wandering and exploing the back roads of central, NJ. I went back to my notebook to be sure...drove past both those places May 30, 2014.
  9. In the fake progressive metal / arena rock band that's been living in my head for the last 35 years Hellion/Electric Eye and Riding on the Wind are our opening songs more often than not. Never recorded as studio covers, we just play em'. Just saying.... those songs to me above all others are my favorite metal tracks.
  10. Sing Me Away Night Ranger Eddie's Coming Out Tonight You can Still Rock In America And while we're talking about that 'Tran Am' playlist, let us not forget "The Outfield". Another fun little band. :)
  11. It's like they know that they f***ed it up with SIG40 and they are afraid to further tarnish the brand. Also, it is now impossible to have a collection of 'like' 40th anniversary releases (including live material).... so what's the point of putting out another set, even if it DID have live stuff? There's still that mound of dog crap next to the hydrant.... even if everything else around it is great.
  12. Starfleet Academy was an idea I first heard about back in the early 90's AOL days. I think even Ron D Moore might have mentioned that it was being considered, back when he used to post about DS9 stuff. I wasn't enthused then, and I'm less enthused now. But it's not being targeted at my demographic today - it's going to be a kids/young adult show, I think. Hope it's good for them.
  13. This would most definitely not suck.
  14. A warm roasted chicken from stage left in every pot.....
  15. I called the Anthem office a couple of times in the early 90's asking about Rush news, next albums and stuff. She always held the line for the band, but was also very friendly and personable on the phone. RIP - and thank you for being nice to a slightly annoying fan.
  16. I mean.....Jimmy's got the riffs. Solid heavy blues based goodness. Al though - his imagination - that chaotic melodic atmospheric stuff, and the way he's adapted his playing across the different eras and sounds. They are different players, each epic in their own space.
