  1. So happy for you. I was just wondering how you were and stumbled upon this update
  2. Mr JD I believe Neil Geddy or Alex personalized them. I remember seeing post it notes on one of the clips I think whoever opens it writes the name plainly on the post it. I know what I had signed looks like Alex personalized it and Dave's looks like Neil's writing.
  3. Dave looks like Neil is the one that personalized yours. Lorraine I really hope you get yours back signed, since you can't see them live. I got a tour book back from the CA tour finally after 4 tries at different venues, I was thrilled and framed it with the ticket stubs and some photos I took with my crappy cell phone at the show. I also sent the R40 tour book to Seattle, I hope I get it back signed. Not sure if I will try a different venue or not if it comes back unsigned. I touched base with about 5 venues on the east coast and not many would forward mail to acts. I should have sent it to Buffalo since that was the show I actually attended. I don't really feel weird because it kind of is like fan mail for they guys...lets em know how much we all love them. I think it is awesome they take the time to do it for as many as they can manage. They don't have to and it speaks volumes that they do.
  4. Yeah we have to have an overnight sitter plus food hotel gas etc... only for Rush

    Geddycorns?

I'm am part of this elite group....at the tender age of 10...is that a Geddycornette? I in fact got my husband into the band, he was listening to crap before he met me..lol.
  6. "was going to say that probably it was ringing in the ears from the loud music. I remember getting that at concerts years ago. He would sound like Minnie Mouse by the time a few songs had been played." Hmmm that might be it, didn't realize that happened.....and yeah I am usually 'way out there' lol
  7. Yeah if she intentionally spoiled I would be mad...which I pretty much just did, hope I deleted before anyone saw it.
  8. my speculation is they might do it in Las Vegas and I'm pretty sure there are a couple of CA stringers in the LA area, so maybe there.
  9. Lorraine I don't know if they can or not....I am not a musician, it just sounded like his speaking voice was higher in the second set than the first set to me.
  10. I've been to 2 shows this tour. I really haven't listened to many on Periscope or Youtube, just been to the live shows. It seems to my ear that they might have tweaked Geddy's mic to 'help' with the high vocals of the second set. Or am I just way out there....?
  11. Which is why a few tours back I started going to as many shows as I could afford and drive to....so worth it in my opinion. Even then I find that I want to go to more shows, and I see something new each time.
  12. I would have liked MSG set list since it had the 2songs I didn't see in Buffalo. Mind you so glad I got Losing It. Last tour we saw 3 shows in 3 different states and got the exact set list each time.lol. Still any music live from the boys I'll take.
  13. I think playing Losing It was somewhat driven by the fans and kind of a follow up from having the strings with CA. I wonder if this would open the door for more "special guests "
  14. Oh man they were both good. I really love the concept of the stage changing for R40. Funny when I saw R30 I kept saying it might be the last chance to see them live. Boy did they prove me wrong. If R40 is it they have more than earned their rest.
  15. Late but we had the air guy in Buffalo and sumo wrestlers in Newark instead
  16. I was in NJ. Great show. Only issue I noticed was the distortion on CTTH. Boys were really feeling the crowd I think. I saw the Green bass and said to my husband Headlong's next he was like no should be CA...Then when it was HL we were both like Losing It !!!!!
  17. Agreed AWESOME show. The guys really seemed to be on and having fun. Some really great pictures showing up. I so wish I could have done at least one more show this tour.
  18. Might they be playing more relaxed now that the DVD filming is done?
  19. "quick their fingers are" whenever the cameras zoomed in on Alex and Geddy playing." 40 year fan here and I'm still amazed at that same thing. I was lucky to be front row Alex side this tour and took very few pictures and video because I was truly in awe of the talent being displayed mere feet in front of me. Pure magic I tell you!
  20. I think some of the deep cuts have made some fans very happy. I love the way they did the progression of songs. I love the way the set gets stripped back..just give me the guys and their music. For fans that like big flashy pyro heavy shows they probably are not as happy. Mainly I am stoked that I'm still getting a great show from my favorite band after 40 years...so lucky
  21. maybe since everyone knows the setlists and they played Losing It they figure why bother
  22. I saw some at my show. I just used my cell phone
