    Red Barchetta

Easily my favorite Rush song. The guitar's sound is so powerful and the solo tops all. The song has that Yes story-telling, visualizing factor in it that's hard to resist.
  2. Who the hell are the people that say they're not better?! The Beatles are nothing but a folksy piece of crap band that kind of sounded like rock, and therefore were called the innovators of rock. If you think highly of the Beatles, go back to your cave. NO ONE BEATS RUSH.
  3. La Villa Strangiato, YYZ, Natural Science, The Analog Kid
  4. Limelight Fly by Night The Anarchist The Spirit of Radio 'nuff said...:D
  5. I thought the show was an 8 out of 10. Great instrumentals and the strings section was amazing. They weren't a stick-up-the-ass orchestra; they actually rocked out to the songs! Geddy's voice was kinda bad and lazy at times, but I can overlook that. I loved how they threw in Limelight as the surprise though. Overall, I thought it was a great show (not going to be better than the upcoming Who concert :D) and I had a blast! Here is my Top 5 songs of the show: 1. YYZ 2. Spirit of Radio 3. Tom Sawyer 4. Analog Kid 5. Where's My Thing? Last thing: Is it me, or did it seem like the sound sucked on almost every old song and rocked on every Clockwork Angels song?
  6. That part is cool, but The Ghost of the Aragon is no doubt the best part from LVS...
  7. Jacob's Ladder would've been a great addition to this tour's VERY CRAPPY setlist, but no, they flipped off 60% of their fans and played what THEY themselves wanted to play. Why doesn't Rush pay more attention to their fans' wants? Play some rare ones that are actually GOOD, like Cinderella Man, Chemistry, Fly by Night, New World Man, Entre Nous, etc. This is my 1st Rush concert ever, and I had to chose the WORST Rush concert setlist EVER...
  8. I'm going to be so pissed if they don't embrace their 70s decade for R40...
  9. When I pay $150 for a ticket to my 1st Rush show ever, I better hear some damn hits! At least throw me the Red Barchetta bone...
  10. Add in Fly by Night, The Trees, and Cinderella Man...
  11. That's if they don't f*** us over on R40...
  12. I want my New World Man damnit!!!
  13. I'd put them as a solid #2 behind The Who. In terms of live shows, still #2 behind The Who. However, I will put them at #1 for hardest rocking...
  14. QUOTE (CE24 @ Sep 29 2012, 07:51 PM) Throw Red Barchetta in there. It never gats old. I'm still really pissed they're not playing Red Barchetta, La Villa Strangiato, or New World Man...
  15. Hemispheres sounds really cool...
  16. Set list #2 is WAY BETTER and they will play #2 after the break.
  17. QUOTE (Alchemical @ Sep 15 2012, 11:58 PM)screaming, "PLAY RED BARCHETTTTTAA!!!" during most of the first set. Woah, it's like you read my mind...
  18. QUOTE (Tommy Sawyer @ Sep 26 2012, 08:18 PM) How is thread still around??? I think it deserves to stay up. I agree with everything this thread author said. Rush basically said "F*** you" to ALL of their 70s fans and now we're left with a whole lot of s*** from their lowest period in their career. Red Sector A? Really? GTFO
  19. iPhone 4. I have no room anymore on it because I have almost 500 songs (69 of them are Rush)...
