  1. Got it! Just wanted to share my excitement for the show, and add a little comedy which im sure geddy and alex would appreciate a sense of humor. I've been thinking about last night all day today. That was just an amazing show. Right up there with the 1st time I saw rush on the moving pictures tour, and the night I saw sir paul McCartney.
  2. Yeah you're right my fault I exaggerated. Only 2 synth era songs. Seemed like there was more though for some reason.
  3. Just got back from the detroit show. Avoided spoilers. What a show.... unbelievable! I enjoyed the first set but I admit I was a little pissed and disappointed that they were only playing synth era songs and that god awful roll the bones.. ugh I hate that song. But my god the 2nd set unreal. Every single song was classic. Cygnus parts 1 and 2! Xanadu, jacobs ladder, lakeside park, what you're doing. Damn what a show. The way it ended with the video goodbyes I'm worried this is the end. If it is, what a way to go out though.
  4. It comes at about 7:50 minutes in to the song. It's the part where the song slows down and you hear the guitar dah, dah, dah, dah. Sorry i'm no music expert so don't know the chords or anything. But man I love this part of the song. I mean the whole song is epic, but from 7:50 to 8:02 in the song, this just may be the greatest moment in music history.
  5. http://i1174.photobucket.com/albums/r614/rush3571/197_zps3c8bf84b.jpg Got this back yesterday from the Palace. I'm still smiling about getting this. You really have to give it up to the guys of Rush for doing these type of things for the fans. Not to many big bands would do something like that. And thanks to everyone on this board for the info. I would never of known you could do something like this. Anyone know any good frames for album covers?
  6. This was a great show. To me though the crowd seemed dead after subdivisions. They really awoke with The Analog Kid and Alex's solo. After that I thought the crowd was pumped the rest of the show. I agree with others on this board, Headlong Flight is epic live. The crowd went INSANE for this one. Carnies really killed live as well. To me that was the best part of the concert, the whole clockwork angels setlist. The only song I really didn't care for live was wish them well. Would of loved to of heard 7cog. A song that's not getting alot of love on this board is Where's my thing. I thought they killed that song live. It was one of the best songs of the night for me. So best song's of the night for me was Analog Kid,Where's my thing?,Clockwork Angels set,YYZ, Tom Sawyer,2112. Awesome show!
  7. Anyone know if the Palace does this? And if I send something Friday morning will that be to late for the show on Tuesday? I think it should get there it's only going a few miles lol.
  8. I am a newer fan only discovering Rush around 4 years ago. I have to say the thing i'm most excited of seeing is Clockwork Angels album. That will be amazing. As for the other stuff, I have to admit I am not a huge fan of the 80's synth albums. I do like Red Sector A, Territories, Manhattan Project and The Analog Kid. Some of the others I could do without. I know people on here are saying Limelight, Red Barchetta and Freewill have been played to death, well then they should play some other hits from the vault such as Jacobs Ladder. Since the 80's fans are getting their setlist this show. Rush needs to give all the 70's fans alot of songs for the next tour. Fly by Night,Xanadu,Jacobs Ladder,Natural Science,A Farewell to Kings,The Trees,2112 the entire side. This is my dream. Lol
  9. I pretty much like every song on this album, but if I had to choose four... 1. The Garden 2.Clockwork Angels Those 2 are epics. Some of Rush's greatest songs of all time. The next 2 songs are a bit tougher to choose because theyre all really good. 3.The Anarchist 4.The Wreckers
