  18. It's a great set list. Nice. Only change I'd make is to swap out Heavy/Defenders with Hellion/Electric Eye

  19. Taylor Swift. The new album has re-kindled my love for her. it's dividing folks big time but i think it's her most matured layered album yet. Folks are saying there's no bangers. here's my thing. i don't need Bangers. i come from singer/songwriters where a majority of songs are thoughtful deep sad songs, lol so this album clicked with me right off. "oh i need to sit with this!" Not me, lol i'm glad she made this. Mick

  22. Moraz And Bruford - Music For Piano And Drums I had no idea this existed, and it is exactly what you would expect. Far out. Ornette Coleman - To Whom Who Keeps A Record Yes. Blue Cheer - Vincebus Eruptum Totally rad, heavy psychy blues. Definitely not crossed the line into metal yet though. Metal starts with Black Sabbath, end of discussion.

  27. Modern pop fans are so used to everything sounding the same they can't handle an artist that shakes things up. But seriously though, this is why modern pop sucks. Aside from Taylor, too few artists get away with experimentation. Look at Ariana Grande...we've had lime four albums that all sound the same...even she sounds bored. We need more artists that follow their own path, but I guess record labels today really don't want to support artists through flops.

  28. I saw one youtube comment that literally said. i don't know why every album is different. Stick to a lane bitch. THAT WAS LITERALLY THE COMMENT!!!!! i'm like why are you a fan if not to watch someone grow? Mick

  29. I also like "he knows changes aren't permanent/but change is", which I would bet everything is Peart and not Dubois. I think it's just more of a "standard" rock lyric than a lot of their work, which might be part of its success. "The world is, the world is, love and life are deep" is just kind of nonsense ...which lots and lots of rock lyrics are. It just sticks out to me because of who it is. To contrast it to the chorus of 2nd biggest hit on the album...they're like night and day. The idea inside of "those who which to be...those who wish to seem" is thought provoking while also being catchy.

  30. Treeduck (Pat), Accountant, and anyone else, who are interested in this. If I was to put together a twenty-twenty-five Judas Priest's setlist, after some thought, I would have these songs. For a complete to it, I included three more, extra encores. From "Jugulator", and "Demolition", I didn't have any songs because Rob Halford wasn't the lead singer on them. I'll do an Iron Maiden one next, too. Blood Red Skies Out In the Cold Nostradamus Invincible Shield Desert Plains Worth Fighting For Angel Redeemer of Souls the Serpent and the King Stained Class Let Us Prey/Call For the Priest You Don't Have to Be Old to Be Wise Crown of Horns Beyond the Realms of Death Firepower Painkiller Run of the Mill Victim of Changes Killing Machine/Hell Bent For Leather Heavy Duty/Defenders of the Faith Screaming For Vengeance You've Got Another Thing Comin' Breaking the Law Living After Midnight

  31. Taylor Swift and Pearl Jam I'm so happy that two of my favourite artists released GREAT albums on the same day. Tortured Poets is a stunning album, and Dark Matter might be the bands finest album this century.

  38. Metal, metal, metal, metal, metal, metal and metal. Then a little bit of metal, a little bit more metal and then finish with some metal. And maybe a metal track slotted in there too.

  39. In the fake progressive metal / arena rock band that's been living in my head for the last 35 years Hellion/Electric Eye and Riding on the Wind are our opening songs more often than not. Never recorded as studio covers, we just play em'. Just saying.... those songs to me above all others are my favorite metal tracks.
