La Villa,Followed very, very closely by YYZ.

The three on Snakes and Arrows are also rather splendid.

all Rush instumentals are so powerful and show true and pure talented musicianship so it is very hard to decide which is best... la villa strangiato has such a haunting feel to it (especially that first solo), YYZ has such a rush to it (pun intentional  tongue.gif ), leave that thing alone... i don't know what it is about that song.. a certain style, but I just love every bit of it, main monkey business has the most interesting sounding solo at some point, and hope is just lovely,
but if I'd have vote which is best, I'd say leave that thing alone

Rush is the God of instrumentals!

La Villa.  A prog/rock tour de force with various movements, tempos, and fist waving rocking.

Mmm Mmm GOOD!

La Villa all the way, because I can't consider the 2112 or Hemispheres intros. The sum is greater than the whole and I can't dissect those masterpieces.

LVS, followed closely by Where's My Thing, and I think TMMB should be in the top 5, at least.
