vaportrailer
Bought the "FULL MOON" book, which DOES come in E-book! I LOVE E-books. you can format the pages, lettering, all so I can read it easily...It's a fascinating read, also! That's great that you were able to find it as an e-book!I wonder what kind of legal hurdles (if any) had to be cleared, as names are not changed, and some of the stories are...well, you'll see! Did the e-book come with the very helpful slang glossary? It's pretty ridiculous! There's A Glossary at the end of the book, haven't looked at it yet! Yup! It's there! And GLAD it's THERE! the U.K. brogue is so thick in this book, I'm getting a BIG teaching class! LOVE this book! Thanks for bringing it to my attention, VT! ORF, I'm really happy that you're getting such a kick out of this book. It's equally hilarious and heart-breaking. And that's great that the glossary is there. I dare you to start using any of those words! :P

Mystic Slipperman
I've been on a serious used CD bender... finding a lot of stuff CHEAP!!! OldRUSHfan
Pulled out "The Big Prize" by Honeymoon Suite and reminded myself that Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull played Flute on "Feel It Again" , the biggest Hit off that album. Went to Amazon, and bought the other four albums in the first five. I thought I recognised that flute playing! Gosh I LOVE his flute playing! So, being primed by that, pulled out Magellan's "Test of Wills" song, "Critic's Carnival" Love this band! And Ian Anderson plays flute on this tune also! Just learned that! I bought this album back in 2001 When I was made aware of it. Edited July 10, 2019 by OldRUSHfan

I have heard of certain fans that dislike any music by Jethro Tull because of the flute being included in the songs. This just sounds CRAZY to me. Possibly because I was in School concert band for seven years or whatever...I LIKE it when odd instruments are included in Rock settings. Burleigh Drummond of Ambrosia plays Bassoon. Thanks for your response, Blue J!

Thanks for your response, Blue J! I love the flute, that was always such a big part of what makes Tull, Tull! And Anderson’s personality, the crazy-haired minstrel for so many years, god, he was just perfect. And a perfectionist, and really self-deprecating about his own talents. I was in concert band for six years myself, and I quit when I got to be a sophomore and was faced with marching band, which I did NOT want to do...but now my oldest son, a trumpet player just like I was, has been in marching band for a year, just starting his second, and he loves it. He is one of the most talented in his whole section (and stands out in other ways, too- he’s 15 years old and 6’6”, 235 lbs)...his little brother, age 12, also plays trumpet and wants to get into jazz band, which he can do in 7th grade, which he’s about to start. I really hope he gets in. I love a lot of different instrumentation, just like you- everything AND the kitchen sink, you know, bring it on!

OldRUSHfan
I just received the first Honeymoon Suite album I ordered. "Monsters Under The Bed", and an album Of a song I found because of CSI:NY by a group called The Bamboos off an album called "Medicine Man" not really metal, but excellent mainstream rock.
stoopid
Played the shit out of The Big Prize. It hasn't aged great, but I did Youtube it not long ago and there's certainly a few solid songs on it. Solid band, they alone represent the 80s rock scene fairly accurately.
