Rutlefan
Yes. Yes. Yes. That's it unless you count mid-70's Rush, or post-Barrett Floyd, or post-Gabriel Genesis.

bean-tor
Rush, Jethro Tull, and Pink Floyd...all while I was a very young girl (one thing my father had going for him was a great record collection). My introduction to Yes would've been around the same time, but their music was probably not quite as prevalent around the house.
Powderfinger
RushPink FloydGenesis In that order, I think. Unless we consider Tool prog, because I liked them before I got into Genesis. I guess I do consider Tool prog, but I can't bring myself to replace Genesis with Tool, sorry.
Entre_Perpetuo
Strait prog? Rush, Yes...and maybe Floyd? I want to say Genesis since no prog band has struck me so much since I first discovered prog, but I only just got into them, so prob Floyd. New_World_Man
Interesting. Lot's of great responses. I was expecting to see some more modern bands mentioned such as maybe Opeth, Dream Theater, Porcupine Tree, Mars Volta or Anathema but I'm glad it's been mostly the seventies bands. I suppose even most of you younger folks got into prog mostly through the older bands.
