The Lyrics.........

f you kissed the sun right out of the sky for me

And if you told me all the lies that I deserve

And if you laid all night in the rain for me

Well, I couldn't love you more

Just couldn't love you more

I couldn't love you more

And if you loved me till my eyes gave no more shine for you

If you walked beside me all the long way home

And if you wasted all of your time on me

Well, I couldn't love you more

Just couldn't love you more

I couldn't love you more

Just couldn't love you more

And if you gave me all the things, I'd never ask of you

And if you showed me all the ways you have to cry

And if you laid all night in the rain for me

I couldn't love you more

Just couldn't love you more

This is from a game called To the moon. and it has an in depth story line. that you'll have to read about if your interested. but it's about this Guy Johnny and his girlfriend later Wife rain. She's autistic. Being disabled i've been around many autistic people. in fact one of my good friends is. They are extremely nice people but have trouble communicating and getting ideas across. this song is just......my friend. And i bawled like a baby. this sung from Johnny's POV to his wife and it about broke my heart.

This song is in the game......which i have played.

Don't Know What You Got ('Til It's Gone) by Cinderella and Tuesday's Gone by Skynard get me close. I don't cry easily.

Sister Christian by Night Ranger used to make my mom cry.

I love the lyrics to this song ("Shout") They, more than anything, make me tear up.

Funny, I just listened to this album the other day. Fit of nostalgia I guess, but I'm always impressed with how well it's held up over the years. I really love this, especially the play out starting around 3:40.

I will always remember when that album first came out how I stayed up all night listening to it with my headphones. I couldn't stop. Over and over and over.

It"s a wonderful album!

I love this piece

First heard it when I was about 9 or 10 - my Dad was playing The Steve Howe Album .....

Not sure if it is the memories, but Steve's version is the most emotional for me

This was a huge favourite of my mother..

Family parties used to always featured a huge singing session, especially after the booze and "Jazz"

cigarettes took effect. This was always an "All Together Now" moment.

The tears certainly flowed at her memorial service when this came on......

Wrapped Around Your Finger

When Sting sings:

Devil on the deep blue sea behind me

Vanish in the air you'll never find me

I will turn your face to alabaster

When you find your servant is your master.

I always tear up bad.

That's the point where Stewart gets after it as well. Really well done.

They really were good. A shame they called it quits so soon.

Selfishly yes. They could have made more albums. But they hated each other. The really did go out on top.

Who would have it in them to walk away from a career at the height of it? I wouldn't have been able to do it. You'd want to cling to that for as long as it would last.

I read that Sting, or maybe it was Stuart, said that the night they played at Shea Stadium before 70,000 fans, they knew they could never maintain that and, from that point on, it would be a slow (or rapid) decline. So, they pulled the plug on The Police.

It helped that by that point they did, as you already said, couldn't stand one another anymore.
