The Analog Cub
Bears pick up ILB Jerrell Freeman for 3 years. Methinks Shea McClellin is done, which is good.
JohnRogers
Congrats Calvin. You looked like a man among boys on the playing field. Great career, although I won't miss you THAT much... http://thesource.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/mag_calvinjohnsoncover_011.jpgIs there language in his contract that if he sits out 2016 then decides to play again the Lions right of first refusal??? Principled Man
NFC North Update: Much to the sadness of Packer fans (and delight of Bear fans), nose tackle BJ Raji is taking at least one year away from football. He reportedly received a good contract offer from the Packers as well as offers from other teams, but family concerns are forcing him to go on hiatus. BJ, we're gonna miss ya a LOT! You're a stud nose tackle, and you were a vital part of the 2010 Super Bowl Championship. :haz: :haz: http://alesantiago.files.wordpress.com/2011/01/super-bowl-bj-raji.jpg?w=

Because she said something to me when I brought up the possibility of taking a break from the league, she said something to me. She said, ‘B.J., when you’re on your death bed, you’re not going to wish that you worked more. You’re not going to wish that you made more money. You’re going to wish that you followed your heart, and that you lived and experienced the things you wanted to experience.' ” Very wise words! :ebert: :ebert: Edited March 14, 2016 by Principled Man

KenJennings
I was hoping the Vikings would draft Josh Doctson, as I'm afraid defenses aren't going to stretch downfield against us next year; but Treadwell seems like he'll be a great fit in the scheme. His speed is a concern, but he's a big body that can force his way open over the middle. He'll be Teddy's prime target for sure. I'd still like to see the Vikings add a speedster to stretch out the defense a little bit.
KenJennings
The Vikings have had a great draft this year, and I'm pumped to see what they can make out of it. So far, this is shaping up to be the best Vikings team since 1998. And it's a young team to boot. Dynasty in the making?
