530 Dire straits - Brothers in arms (ru_ready)

From start to finish a great album.

Yeah maybe if certain people didn't flood the list with multiple artists or frivolous choices some actual great classic legendary albums would have made the list. Like how many Thin Lizzy albums made it?

I put Jailbreak in the 500 and Black Rose here

I ****** up by saving too many from them

Exactly. I don't know I would maybe do it different knowing what I know now.

We need posters

This was my favorite - my older sis drove me to the newly constructed Rockaway Mall ( 1978 ) - I bought it at Spencer's

At age 10

lol

Still hanging in my cousins basement rumpus room.

Apologies for the diversion

Goose, here's a alternate shot ... I was obsessed with her ( .. maybe "was" isn't accurate )

Suzie Holub

wow ... 1977

533. Van Halen - 1984 (New World Man)

I was listening to this in my car earlier today. A real good one this is and the last with David Lee Roth(at least for a while). The fist two songs have synth on it but the rest is traditional VH and in a good way. One of my favorite VH albums.

yeah, I mean, I really like The Georgia Satellites and Stooges debuts, and I put them up figuring I would eventually get Black Rose, Lovedrive, Iron Maiden's debut, etc in ...

But Thin Lizzy, and The Scorps and Maiden mean a lot more to me

I could have done without the RUSH entries. They're a given.

Your Devo pick should be 534. You skipped over my VH pick(see above).

535. Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars ( The Motion Picture Soundtrack ) - David Bowie ( custom55 )

The year, 1973. Me, a high school senior. Two of my friends, both college freshmen, had an extra ticket to David Bowie and the Spiders from Mars at Radio City, Feb 14, 1973... I bought the ticket and this is what I saw.

527. Scorpions - Lovedrive (Lucas)

Might be my favorites Scorpions album .. Michael Schenker "guests" on most of the tracks ( some not credited ) and Lovedrive is a great great album that transitions from the Uli Roth era to the more song-oriented era

I like what they did after this, and I like Matthias, but I think the Scorpions would have been that much more fantastic had Michael stuck around as the lead guitarist

.

.

Love this one. I think it's the last one I bought. Worth it for the cover alone. An all timer for sure...

Custom, that album(Ziggy Stardust) was already featured could you please replace it with something else? I know yours says "soundtrack" but still I find that to be a bit redundant. Edited by New_World_Man
