Lucas
I've started walking a few miles each night again - a good, fast clip - and I'm in need of some new shoes ... The last pair I bought were Brooks Pure Cadence, and they were awesome when I first got them - they wore out quick however, and now I see that they are already obsolete .. Any recommendations on a good, super comfortable walking/jogging shoe ?? Thanks !
JohnnyBlaze
This has come up before and there's a good thread on it somewhere to be found on TRF. I'm no runner but the most comfortable walking/hiking/everyday shoes I have are by Merrell. I bought my first pair about a decade ago and never went back. Now I have three pairs that are in constant rotation. I ALWAYS wear them on vacation too. Very comfortable and sturdy while remaining low key without the bombastic designs and neon colors.http://www.shoebuy.com/pi/wolve/lg/wolve668347_4168_lg.jpg

I walk briskly somewhere between 3 and 4 miles every day and and have for almost 2 and a half years now and I alternate wearing each shoe as I feel like it basically. They are all very comfortable in their own way. Actually I have retired my Merrell's to my yard work shoes (cutting the grass etc) at this point because they just wore out and the mesh was torn in the style that I have. Merrell is a bit pricey but truthfully they all are. When I go to get another pair on occasion to add to the collection I obviously look for comfort first and price second but there is a way to balance the two and get out of the store for under 50 bucks. My Merrells. Lots of miles on these things.... http://s16.postimg.org/bb8nu8fx1/20151010_102428.jpg http://s15.postimg.org/v2kn5cqbf/20151010_102501.jpg
x1yyz
For running I love my super-lightweight Merrell's: http://www.merrell.com/US/en/pace-glove-3/17591W.html?dwvar_17591W_color=J32574#cgid=women-footwear-shoes&prefn1=bestFor&prefv1=Running&prefn2=itemStyle&prefv2=Athletic&start=1 http://www.dailymile.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/Merrell-Pace-Glove.jpg
Maverick
I love my Merrell shoes. I also own a pair of Brooks Beast, and they are really good. I've always had a soft spot for New Balance, as well.

Rod in Toronto
Sadly, New Balance and Brooks are not available here in Brazil, but I wore New Balance in Australia, and they're incredibly light.

ILSnwdog
Asics or New Balance. Although, the last two pair of NBs wore out kind of quickly. I've now gone back to Asics. Edited October 12, 2015 by ILSnwdog
EagleMoon
Honestly you need to find the brand of shoe that fits your foot. There are a lot of good brands out there but they may not fit you correctly.

Mr. Not
I got some sort of running shoe by Reebok a couple months back. It was just going to be intended for my jogging, but they're so comfy I pretty much wear them every day now.
