I started too late. I shouldn't have become a fan.

Does anyone else besides me think that, if you're in the US or Canada anyway, many of us will get a decent shot at seeing them again? I see a lot of people acting like they're just going to disappear after this tour, and while this could definitely be the last "Rush tour" as fans have gotten used to the past several decades, both Geddy and Alex have pretty much said that there will be shows in the future even if they're not part of a 35 date run. Alex mentioned the idea of doing 2-3 week stints like other older artists do (he got the idea from David Gilmour), and then of course lots of us are speculating about residencies, festivals, scattered one-off shows etc.

I could be wrong, obviously, and no one really knows but the band, but I'm at least relatively optimistic that plenty fans will get a chance to see them one more time after this tour is over. Depending on what they do/where they go, some of us might have to do a good bit of traveling though.

RUSH's catalogue is so large, their music is so multi-layered, complex, and nuanced that after 32 years of 'listening" - I'm still hearing things I never heard before. You've got lots of years of ear candy to enjoy- so get out there and rock! Edited by celticsalmon

I love Rush's music so much and I always will. But all I see around me on this website are fans that have seen them multiple times, anywhere from five times to f***ing 25 times. Me? This is going to be my first and last time seeing Rush if they do make the decision to break up after this tour. It isn't fair for me, because I love Rush just as much as any other fan....I'm sorry, but I really shouldn't have put myself through this. I shouldn't have re-discovered Rush in 2012. I shouldn't have listened to the GUP live version of Witch Hunt two summers ago. This was a mistake. I rather that they just retired and me, not being a huge fan would be like "well that sucks." and get on with my life.

I will probably never see them as I live in the UK and obviously they haven't been over here for R40 :( it really breaks my heart.

It's never too late. I didn't get into them until i was 15 and a half despite my dad always listening to them, and that was after I saw them live. I've only seen them twice, and didn't have good seats both times, but who cares? I got to see them! And they changed my life!

I wish my poll threads took off as well as this one.

Just pay me $50 like Fraroc did.

Will you take a check?

Only blank ones.

Eaglemoon and Fraroc would rather I took a rain check.

Was fraroc being melodramatic here? Absolutely. Did he deserve to be called out for it? Yes. Could that have been accomplished without the personal attacks? Also yes.

Thank you. I am a man with lots of flaws and I don't have any problems with people calling me out on my crap, but that doesn't excuse the way Tony R treats not me, but everyone on this forum.

Tony R is from Britain right? explains a lot. and if that is correct then he would be Thick not Dense as eaglemoon stated

I have heard thick is better. Jus say'in...

Thick as a brick baby!!! Hahaha
